So the to all the people who want to know the story of this song :D like most of the people already said, its a song about len being a police officer who's joining his commander (kaito) to a popular bar where rin works as a dancer. Len and Rin instantly fall in love, but the thing is Kaito was actually taking Rin for himself (eventually have sex with her) misusing his power as a commander. but even so, Len secretly visited Rin but got caught one night and kaito stabbed one eye of Len after warning him to stay away from Rin. Len walked away but couldn't bear the idea of his beloved Rin getting mistreated by Kaito, so he rushed back only to see how Rin killed Kaito after Kaito tried to make his move. Len was shocked and didn't knew what to do. He knew that Rin killed Kaito because of her love for him, but as a police officer he has to put Rin into jail, and because Rin killed a commander she'll probably be sentenced to death. So the ending of this song is Len walking away because he doesn't want Rin to be dead, but because of the duty as an officer he can't be with Rin anymore. So the last part with Rin singing "If u really love me then don't look back until the day we meet again." is actually her saying goodbye forever. A pretty sad story if you ask me :(

No. Nobody dies in this song. The basic story of the song is that Len is an officer who one day tags along with his friends to the red-light district. There he meets Rin, who is a dancer at one of the popular bars. They fall in love and engage in a passionate affair for a brief amount of time, knowing that their relationship is doomed for their different classes/occupations. At the end of the song, they part ways, holding in their hearts their love for one another as well as the hope of seeing each other again some day.

A story of an officer who is taken to the red-light district to see a popular dancer. He gets intoxicated, and falls in love with her. The dancer reciprocates his feelings. Imagery of flowers, butterflies and poisoned nectar are used throughout the song. From the start, they know their relationship is wrong and doomed, but share a short time of passion. They share whispers and vows of undying love, all the while fully understanding that they can never be together, and eventually confess that they wish they never met, because they love each other too much to turn back. At the end of the song, the couple part ways wistfully, swearing not to look back until they met again, if they were to meet again. - yeah I saw this when I searched the internet, but what I don't understand is why their relationship is wrong, maybe because Len is an officer and Rin is a prostitute of some sort and it just doesn't mix?? -

I read somewhere that his officer also loved the girl and because of that he killed him to avoid her being forced into a relationship with him. Because of this he had to flee, which is why they couldn't be together again. Even if that's not true, people in the military have sought comfort with prostitutes for pretty much as long as both groups have existed, or at the very least they've had affairs with women in towns they pass through. That by itself is not unusual, and it's not technically bad to sustain a relationship, but it sounds to me like what they were worried about was that Len wanted to abandon his position in the military to stay with her, which is a big no-no.

This is what I think the song is about and what most people prob think that it's about if they were to just started listening to vocaloid. So the story is Len is an officer who visit this bar and met this beautiful criminal (just my theory, others might think differently), Rin, whom he fell in love instantly. But maybe he was on a mission to capture this criminal but instead he let her flee which could possibly explain the ending of how they have to separate at the end. How both of them describe this love as sinful. This is just me thinking out loud, you might have your own interpretation :).
