What the haters dont realize is that what you did to make your Bobber is how every single big bike builder who ever picked up a wrench got started. You arent a professional mechanic or fabricator. You did what you wanted and figured it out along the way. In your garage, learning as you go. Thats what its all about, my friend. And the results are stellar.

You did exactly what is ment to be done with bikes, you customize them and make them your own, it's your bike and I'm not a fan of the peanut tank but you did a fantastic job on that bike and it looks awesome!
@billbaggins99615 жыл бұрын
The biggest point is very simple: Who did you build the bike for? and that's why you built it that way. It's what YOU wanted and not what he or she wanted. You did what made you happy and by your voice you were successful. I have to agree with you, it looks much better. Great job!
@HuskerPryde815 жыл бұрын
Ignore the haters, dude. Bottom line is that you built your bike the way you wanted to, and as long as it makes you happy to ride then thats all that matters. And stick with the full face helmet if its what you want. Safety is more important that what someone feels is the right "style" for a bobber. Keep building, brother!

Brother! Im a bike builder from Australia. You BUILT a bike for youself. Bike building is an artform in itself, the people commenting throwing shade are the ones who have never swung a spanner on their own hog, and paid the dealer to bolt on a bunch of willie g items on their stock harley. If you love your ride, then fuck everyone else. Great build mate!

My opinion is that it is YOUR biker and you can do it anything you want... That's the reason that many "other" bikers with their "uncool" japanese or german or english etc etc bikes don't get along with harley motorcyclists and by the way I have a Jap and I ride alongside with everyone no exception his bike! Also about the helmet... It is uncool to wear a fullface until your mom feeds you or you can only eat with a straw... ( sorry for my english) Greetings from Greece

@kenwinter1785 жыл бұрын
Dude don’t sweat the haters. Trust me I feel your pain. I built my chopper “Aces & Eights” it was featured in American Iron garage. I got all the same stupid comments your getting like “it’s not chopper”, “that’s not an old S’cool chopper it’s for show” Needless to say, they don’t see me put 2 - 3000 miles a season on it, and my all time favorite you didn’t “build” that bike you bolted parts on it. A buddy of mine is a custom bike builder and honestly, that’s all they do. He buy’s parts such as Drag Specialities, Paul Yaffe etc. and bolts those parts on. Like you stated, we didn’t fabricate these bikes, we built them. Those guys are at a completely different level and I absolutely respect and appreciate that almost lost skill and “art form”, but there’s a big difference between fabricating a bike and building a chopper. It’s called that for a reason.... because you take parts from everywhere and put together a new bike. In conclusion keep doing what your doing brother, it’s my opinion that’s a sick ass bike, and I’d be honored to ride next to you any day, God bless, keep the faith and stay safe.

Most of these haters are people who don’t like HD’s Bobbers. Just cause they have a $0 budget on there builds doesn’t mean you can’t build one with 8k parts. For the helmet thing they probably have a gold Bobber helmet sitting in there bedroom waiting for when they can afford a bike.

A bobber is using a standard frame (including rear suspension) and taking all not needed off. A Chopper is using a chopped standard frame making it a hard tail or building a custom frame and customising the rest. You have built a great looking bobber 👍

Bike life is a choice. You chose it, and me and my dad chose it, mom too(mom is short so she has a Yamaha PW80) who doesn't want to ride on the back of a big metal beast. You and your bike are one, and bikers care for their bikes like a loved one. People who haven't rode a bike don't know how powerful you feel. Riding a motorcycle is like a drug. You try it once and your hooked. 🏍

BUT, even though I'd gladly buy the fatboy of you, I would now pay MORE for your BOBBER (for fucks sake!) version of it! I compleatly and honestly LOVE what you did to it. And no question, it was you that BUILDT it. Your ideas, and your hands did the work= you buildt it. Period. To say anything else is just ignorant and stupid. And of course, you wear a full face helmet because you're smart! 3/4's are nice. I admit that. I like them for slow cruises, meet up's, shows and that kind of thing. But for everyday riding, full face - no questions. AWSOME work dude! Love your series, all of them! Keep it up! (Also love the music you use.) 🤘😎

Have to say that your video of the build was one of the best videos I have seen on building a bobber. So much such so the I am thinking of buying a late 90's Fatboy just to build it close to what you built. I own a Harley Breakout and still want a bobber. And I want to build it myself. Riding a bike that I built is what I dream about. KZbin is a breeding ground for people who think "I have an opinion and everyone needs to hear it". "You used stickers" or "why are you wearing a full helmet". Screw everyone. You took that outdated Harley and built an awesome machine. You don't have to justify crap to anyone. Your talent speaks for itself. Real people who ride bikes appreciate all bikes and see the talent you have. Wish I had your talent. Keep the videos going and that bike is sick!

Haters gonna hate. More than likely all the haters have probably never even worked on a bike as much as you did. It doesn't matter what you're riding, what you've done to it, how little or how much money is put into a bike or what you call it. All that matters is you're on two wheels and you love what you're riding. Yes it was sad seeing that fatboy taken apart, but i was also ecstatic to watch the entire project. I'm glad you made this video to point out all of the hate, but also to show the love for what you love, I love your bike, i feel your energy through it because its a reflection of you, and that shows, you love to ride it now that you've truly made it your own, not to mention that bobbers are the most reflected by transformations from what were otherwise really bulky heavy looking bikes like a fat boy and that makes your bike actually a prime example of a real bobber, a complete flip visually and also for performance :)
