Motor & Trans Mount Replacement 3.0L Ford Escape, Mercury Mariner, Mazda Tribute 2008-2012

In this video I demonstrate how to replace all of the motor and transmission mounts in a 2011 Ford Escape 3.0
This should cover model years 2008-2012 including the Mercury Mariner and Mazda Tribute with the 3.0 liter engine.

I replaced all mine with DEA aftermarket and the vibration did not change, so your mileage may vary depending on sequence you do the mounts and/or quality of mounts you buy. It could just be the engine is unbalanced, but mine is the 2.3 L Mazda engine and this video is 3.0 L engine.

Hmmm, good to know! Yeah this helped the vibration but didn't completely get rid of it.

Did you have to move anything out of the way to get to the last transmission mount?

Hey which extensions did you use? I have all hand tools, are you using 12’ extension, 3/8 drive?

For what part? I thing I'm generally using a 12" & 6" long with 1/2" drive

transmission have 1 mount? online websites show 2........1 central major and 1 on the left????? its that right?

Only one mount and the steering wheel likes to vibrate when in DRIVE. If you switch to neutral and vibration goes away, I would say the trans mount is problematic.
