NJ getting early appointment date is too difficult and luckily I got one with my friend's cancelled appointment. Passed the exam today, Here is my tips: First I watched couple of youtube videos with 300 plus Q&A, but it was more confusing in answers (Spent 1 day but wasted my time In 2 days preparation). Those videos 60 - 70% questions will come but the tricky part is how to get 80% above. I studied the NJ manual book one time except chapters 9,10. Chapter 10 we can ignore completely but from chapter 9 received 2 questions about number plates and vehicle registration. 1) learners permit, probationary DL, basic DL requirements 2) Speed limits at school zone 3) car distances in different surfaces 4) alcohol related 3 questions, quantity, age and lawsuit in case of accident 5) uphill and downhill parking , reverse from parking, parking distance feet from intersection crosswalk, 6) vehicle registration and time limit (from other state, within NJ), number plate after sell ur vehicles 7) aggressive driving related 8) two solid lines purpose(should know white and yellow solid, dashed lines) watch 5 minutes youtube video for road lines details 9) 2 questions from symbols and signs 10) 3 minutes or less idle rule in drive way 11) flashing red , blind spots, no zone from trucks, corbon monoxide poisoning, skids. Warning: Skip the doubtful questions, when you make wrong answers you will feel nervous and will not be easy to complete with cool, I felt nervous with 3 wrong answers and 5 skipped questions, took more time to read and answers. dont rush for answers, there are tricky all the above or 2 answers questions.

Quick tip: when parked on any hill remember ur car tires are gonna be turned [LEFT] so if u get those questions just imagine the cars tires to the left ✌🏾

I’m 28 and have had my license for years but I got in some trouble and it was suspended for a bit. I had to retake the test. So I took my test twice and failed 😣. I thought I had it in the bag, I’m a great driver so I should pass it right!! WRONG🛑. I watched your video and also went through the manual page by page and highlighted all the answers I recognized from taking the test prior. Today, for the 3rd time, I retook the test and passed only getting 1 question wrong. The best advice was to skip all the questions I don’t know and all of the above is usually the right answer. thanks for this, people don't talk about the knowledge test because they took it in highschool. I went yesterday to take the test, was completely prepared besides the bottom half of my permit... When I got the initial permit they were training a new lady and she ripped the bottom half off on me so I thought only the top half was necessary.

There’s only one question that doesn’t follow the all of above! It’s: an aggressive driver may… and instead of all of the above it’s “Cause an accident”. Otherwise knowing the all of the above thing basically passed me, tysm 😭. FYI FOR ANYONE 21+ a good chunk of the questions are about the prohibitionary licenses (21 under) regardless of your age! Make sure to read over the page bc if it wasn’t for some light skimming I would’ve failed.

Quick question I know first you receive your permit and after that schedule for the knowledge test pls correct if I’m wrong… and once you pass schedule for your road test and finally get your license, but what if your in high school? My cousin is in high school and I heard they take a drivers Ed class and you receive this type of card when you complete it and with that you’re supposed to go to the DMV. So I’m confused I get my permit and show them the card and after that I have to take another knowledge test or do I immediately get my license after having the permit for some time since I took the class in high school ???????
