Definitly the most beautiful car, i've ever seen. There are hot cars, those are the one you describe with a "wow", and there are the handsome ones, that put a smile one your face. But the Z4 has it all: the aggressive look of a roadster ( especially the nose), and the classic beauty of a design masterpiece. An absolutly special car.

Not anymore. The outgoing Z4 was built in South Caroline - Spartansburg. The new body style is built in Germany. In South Carolina they now make - X5s and X6s.

Car looks fantastic and agressive. But the Z3 still has that classic roadster looks coupled with handsome curves and aggression. Z3 still oozes pure masculanity, a real Chick Magnet!

Mirandolo de frente es un autentico BMW, de perfil da un arie al Aston, y de atras ligeramente a un Boxter de Porche, sobre todo con las luces en la noche se podria confundir con un porche boxter. En general un excelente rediseño de Z4 sin dejar como en generaciones anteriores el numero, de Z3 a Z4, que sin cambiar el numero, se rdiseño y quedo ralmente maravilloso.

NIce, plus this car is made in South Carolina, USA believe it or not. I saw a show on Discovery on how they build them from scratch and the manufacturing facility looks like a museum. You can actually take a week off, fly to South Carolina, and watch your car being made. i believe all of them are made there, they have to ship them all the way back to Germany, or where ever someone wants to get one of these.

When I saw the new SL550, I was really impressed. The design cues taken from the SLR really shine through. (though I should say, I'd never actually buy the Merc. For that sort of cost I'd have an Aston) I just don't get that rush from looking at this car. I think, for me, what it really comes down to is, the car is beautiful, just not exciting, and if there was one thing the previous Z4 had in spades, it was excitement.

The rational side of my mind is telling me that I should love this car and be very excited about it. However, the gut reaction simply isn't here. I know German cars are generally known for engineering over passion, but the previous Z4 had something special to it (especially the coupe version).

It's too bad they switched to a folding hard top. The old Z4 had a decent boot that you could do some traveling with, but this new one has no boot space at all if you want the top to be down.

The 2009-2010 Z4sdrive35 is a great car with its 300hp twin turbo... and the folding hard top is great until you realize you have almost NO trunk space with the top down. There will be a tweaked version this spring that will develop about 330hp. But I frankly prefer the 06-09 Z4 ragtops after you optomize them a bit. In any event Z4s - you either love 'em or hate 'em. Those that dont "get" the Z4 anf point out how this car or that car does "more" just will never understand Z4 drivers :)

The 2010 BMW Z4 will reach 60mph in 5.7 seconds (rather than 6.1 in the current Z4), and the Z4 M will reach 60mph in just 4.7 seconds. An M4 is in consideration for mid-2010, and that will reach 60mph in just 4.2 seconds because of a 400 horsepower 4.0 liter V8.

We have a 2004 2.5i. I like the way it looks but not this new one. The 2.5i is a bit slow but this one is trying too much to look like the big cars (5,7 series)

Looks like a 3 series, a X3, the current Z4 and a Corvette had a love child and this is what came out. I don't know if I say it's ugly or pretty, but this seems a bit conservative, I liked the love or hate looks of the current Z4 because at least they try to be different, but this, I don't know.

i agree chris bangle is gone and Adrian van Hooydonk took over and new design chief is less risk taking than chris bangle. Chris bangle design are truly daring since the lines of last gen car flow in 3d space compare to other car design only flow in the x and y axis.

I love driving this car with the hood over the top as a coupe more for the reason that it just looks more class that way, but having the option to put it down is always nice. This thing is fucking robotic ($10,000+ on upgrades) and the engine just purs.

You dont have to be rich to have this car.. really. my buddy is not a rich man.. Its a nice little car, its has a crisp feeling when driving it. . I wish it had more power, I"m not a huge fan of the edgy, and smooth body lines. Try before you buy..
