today saw a white Slavia on road and it looked awesome .. I gave it a chase just to see it from up close! this after actually TDing a white Slavia a few weeks ago.. on road, it looks fab! waiting for Virtus in person rendezvous, to finally take a call between Slavia 1.5 DSG/Virtus GT.. hope I get to see a Virtus GT in white/yellow/blue soon

what! I drove a 1.5 DSG and liked it quite a lot.. then being an enthusiast, I wanted to also try out manual.. got a call from the showroom, went to TD only to find they had a 1 ltr in manual and not the 1.5 that I was expecting.. drove it and didn't like it a bit - the clutch is really, really bad.. it doesn't bite until you completely release the pedal which felt awkward for most parts.. I drive a manual and I was having issues controlling the clutch pedal of this car which was also confirmed by a friend (who drives an auto these days and was barely able to change gears).. the TD car had run only 2k kms so it can not be a fault clutch plate regardless of abuse

BASE models of all these german cars are crap and VW does not allow for any sort of modification so… Kushaq: 15.1 laks on road. Taigun: 15.8 laks Slavia: 14.5 laks Makes more sense to go for the sedan.

Just pay 12 lakhs and buy honda city 4th generation and feel the power of vtech, at 190 kms you still have 2500 rpm left that is the power of honda city 4th generation. Coming to backspace space, i have seen many cars nothing beats the rear space comfort than 4th generation honda city. This would be my evergreen choice among c SEGMENT sedans

Well in the DSG variant of the German sedans shift to sports mode and you are doing 200 km/h on the 6th gear with one more gear left. So car should easily be able to hit around 220 km/h leaving the 4th gen City in the dust 😝. And talking about backseat space the Nissan Sunny isn't far behind even though it's a pretty old car. I'm 5'11 and my friend who owns the Sunny is the same height and slightly healthy as well. With him on the driver seat I still have ample legroom. And if you compare it's dimensions with the German sedans the Germans are slightly longer and have a longer wheelbase as well so that should give you an idea of the backseat comfort.

@@yateshasher4872 rear seat comfort isnt not related to legroom, the backrest angle, seat contouring, seat cushioning and suspension setup plays a very important role. The city has a couch like rear seating position whereas germans have an upright backrest angle, and the cushioning and suspension setup is not comfort oriented.
