I've a 4 months old punch ev LR have already done 17k kms, loving every bit of it, except range it has everything that's postive, it can do 270-290kms per charge , which is less for my mostly highway running, a curve ev LR range would have been perfect for me. Still cant complain a gem of a small car indeed

270-290km highway range on a declared range of 420 km is as expected. It's not Tata's fault you chose the wrong car. Real problem of Tata is their service quality. I owned a Tata car before.

Sir I have the same car. If you want the seat belt warnings to stop, there is a small clip behind the seat in the boot of the vehicle. Just unclip it and the problem is solved you will not get the rear seatbelt warning.

Have ड्रिवन my Punch EV to 9% recharging it through regen braking. An EV looks like an ICE but is different in tech. Understand the tech and you won’t have range anxiety. Did a road trip of 1500 km that too in rural area. The range is based on your driving habit and how well you understand your EV

Before you buy an EV ....you need to decide what's the max you'll drive per day. If you buy a tiny battery of 35kWh and primary drive on highways in 55c weather you will have range anxiety. Better to go for 55 Curvv or Atto 3 or the Ioniq 5 if driving on highways the main purpose

Mine is Adventure LR in Kolkata. I have taken it on couple of long drives - faced the same power cut issue in both the trips (one even in Tatanagar). So long drives are still a problem even when you manage to find a charger. Best mileage achieved while driving at 65 km/hr, without AC, 2 persons, using cruise control - almost 4km / percentage of SOC. Vehicle wise, not much to complain. But real problem is their post sales service, and this apathy flows down directly from Tata Motors. I owned a Maruti previously, after each of the service a rating form was given & Maruti used to follow-up if there was any deviation from the top rating. Here it seems Tata doesn't even care about customer's experience on the dealer side. Definitely EVs are not coming cheap, so why do we have to tolerate all this BS?

I have a tiago ev LR version, done 27,000 kms so far, no problem with the car till date. I get 220-250 km running in Hills only without AC and mostly charge from my Solar system which i install few years back in my home. In winter when the temperature drop to less than 18< degrees Celsius, i observes that battery consumption increases by more than 5 % .

EV consumption is optimum between 15-35 degrees. Anything below or more affects range. Below 5 degree or above 45 degree, it drops as much by 30%.

You can also go for Nexon EV 40 any variant this will be more value for money , but yes if you really need long range car then Nexon EV 45 is a good option also you can consider Curvv because it has 55 kwh battery and starting variant will cost you equal to the price of Nexon EV (i.e) 21 lakhs
