I have a good friend who works at a sport and performance car repair shop. He told me was reviewing the factory protocol for unhooking the extremely high voltage battery from an EV to perform some sort of service and “Stairway To Heaven” started playing on the shop radio 😳, he decided to take a short break before proceeding 😆👍!

Always go with the fuel with the lowest E number, I say this because in some countries the high octane stuff has the most ethanol, so 99E10 will not run as well as 95E5. In the UK 99e5 is a no brainer choice, plus you get better mpg. FYI it has now been proved that corn derived ethanol production produces 24% more CO2 than regular petroleum production!

I ride a Zontes ZT125-U and at times I use E10 and to be honest there is not too much difference in performance. I would say it is a little down in power and does sometimes struggle to idle for a few seconds from cold but only when it's very cold outside. Definitely get less mpg on E10. I normally use V-power so any fuel I use other than that is down on power.

Super unleaded does still exist (e.g. v-power). It's higher octane with cleaning agents as before. The e5 label has to be there to inform you that the maximum ethanol content, although in most cases it's a lot less.

I have a 2012 ybr 125 custom it has a home made twin exit exhaust and a air filter before the roll out of e10 i never had an issue with it since then to be able to get the performance it use to have as it felt lacking. I made a "tuning box" ( variable resistor to mess with the ecu so it injects more fuel). also noticed it struggles to start with e10 and struggles to do over 60 on e5 with the same setup It will hit the limiter in 5th a 74

My Versys 1000 (2012) hates E10. It chugs at low RPM and gets much lower MPG than on E5. I use 99 Octane E5 when available, 97 E5 in most cases and E10 if I have to.

Defo found my bike runs shite on E10. 100%. Been switching between E5 and E10 over the last year or so and can confirm my bike gets a few extra MPG, more importantly, it feel less lean and seems to have more mod-range kick. My car doesn’t seem much different

Interesting about your xj6 I purchased a 2009 model last year, and mines sits at 6k revs at 70 and 7k at 80 wondered if your gearing is different? I had the chain and sprocket replaced but believe it’s just the stand size. Also you have an aftermarket exhaust so probably why yours sounds revvy. I just have the stock. Enjoy the channel btw and was the reason I got the same Yamaha as your in-depth review. Very hard to find reviews on used motorcycles now a days as all on here tend to do new bikes only

Hey Spicy eep upe the god work Dont get in to biger bikes. Your aria dos fine with a 125, or a 250 eaven your 400. you need no biger Bullschit juste once a moth to go on a "Autobban!" Thank you vor inspiring mme to ride my own 125 !!! And hhere in Geraniy i did ride she shit out of it !!! Thank you for ALL THE INSPIRATRION !!!!

Does anyone know if you have to pay to retake your A2 if you fail? Can’t find anything online to suggest that you do?

Yes of course you do, you need to re pay for the test you failed and the training bike.

Speaking as an electrician, we want nothing to do with EV's because an Li-On battery discharges like a capacitor. In other words, one wrong move and all they'll find is a pair of smoking boots. I've ridden a Zero SR/F, I loved it, but if I get one then any fault with the electrical system and it'll go back to the dealership. I, as an electrician, am not putting my hands anywhere near that thing.

I do understand this but surely mains voltage and some silly sods dodgy wiring is more dangerous? Or is it the fact you can't isolate it?

@@spicy110 You're not wrong on mains voltage at home but I do industrial maintenance, lots of isolation points. I've done some homers for friends and the wiring has been shocking but at least you can still switch the breaker and test for dead.
