Back in the day, when Pro Stockers actually looked like motorcycles. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for posting dragtimes2. Terry Vance always looked like the ultimate professional. The crash he had on the top end in '87, as the rear wheel started hopping uncontrollably on the rough track, made him rethink a lot of things. Don't think he was a sellout, just a smart business man.

to think, a tesla plaid would run neck-and-neck with the winner here.

lol Super Bike Mike SBM Im from Ft lauderdale and I seen the crap 1st hand he sold people. We called him Slow Broken Motors because I seen engines he built with 4 different pistons and two very different (as in brand) cams. He had a tiny 2 bay shop on Oakland park Blvd he could barely keep open, ours was on State road 84 and 15th ave and we had a 1978 Z1-R in the window. Needless to say Mike Keyte was a joke, right up until he held a drag race on Krome avenue and a kid ran into hit truck on a GSXR he was radaring and died.

I lived in Fort Lauderdale most of my life. I raced cars and bikes at Miami /Hollywood and Moroso. I had a B /stock 67 Triumph Bonneville I bought new at Broward Motorsports on Broward Blvd. I lived on SW 20th street and 10th ave. right by Broward Marine, about a quarter mile from you seemed to be. I remember turning off Oakland Park Blvd and onto that little road SBM had his shop on, he was out front doing burnouts on a customer's bike and almost plowed my 62 406 Ford. Ft Lauderdale was good times in the 60s 70s and very early 80s.
