Love it. I think I'm going to start with a similar looking tower setup for the neck and dropouts that will just bolt onto my fab table. Love your stuff man, following your two Sporty builds has inspired me to take on my first full frame! It's just going to be a hardtail using all the excess parts from my Super Hooligan bikes but I'm excited.

Wow comments like this are awesome. I really appreciate the words. I wish you the best of luck moving forward in your projects, I am glad to play a small part in the motivation. Yes, a less elaborate frame fixture will get you by just fine for a while! When building your first frame just take your time, don't let stress consume you, and think and rethink each step. Try to think about all variables, chain lines, geometry, clearances, riding position, etc. good luck!

This was a pretty awesome jig explanation, Kully! Looking at your engine mount pick-up fixtures made me wonder if there's any way you can play around with frame stiffness on an engine-stressed-member design by altering the mounts?

Thanks, Dan! Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching my stuff as always ! Yes i think that is a good thought process. I think there are numerous ways a guy could alter stiffness on these trellis style frames or any frame for that matter . Frame design, engine mount design (material), wall thickness , gusseting , all that fun sruff

What is the tab to slot tolerance, say what was the actual thickness of your 1/4" plates and what were the tab width slots for the 1/4" plates?
