My first hands on experience with a motorcycle GPS Navigation unit by Garmin. In this video I install the zumo XT on the handlebars, and route the power to the motorcycle battery. I can't wait to test this thing out on a real adventure!

Going camping....I knew it was coming....WOOT WOOT!!! I love GPS it is the best thing ever. I lost cell signal in West Virginia and was totally lost until near Baltimore. I was freaking out. Totally lost until it popped back on.

I have had mine for 1 year. Works Great! I made adapters for my Triumph Tiger 800, to use the 'Euro' power outlet and one for My Victory Cross Country which the has the standard 12v power outlet [cig lighter socket] that allows me to use on either bike without hard wired to battery.

Solid product review, I was actually looking at these but I worry that with my sportster it'll vibrate off. I love the different types of routes that you can select on the spot. Usually I have to look at google maps before the ride to map out what kind of routes I want to take. Good stuff!

Nice install and vid. Have you tried adding music to a microSD card in the unit? I'm trying to figure this out at the moment as the device isn't recognizing any files I put on the card. I've read that it has to be formatted to FAT32 (which I've done) and files put into a "MP3" folder, but still not working.

So, to answer my own question...I think I figured it out. I had to connect the Zumo to my PC and then create a "MP3" folder in the SD card folder to upload the files to. It seems to only recognize MP3's, not MP4's or any other.

Am having issues with USB. How you connect as the Back plate covers the slot.. Unless its something have done wrong.

USB cable won’t work well. At best your limited to 40% screen brightness. At worst the battery will die.
