Yea it’s all off feel honestly and what you trying to do. I wouldn’t recommend being in 6 gear at 10mph or cruising at 90secs 1st. Just feel the bike it’ll tell you. If it’s screaming like annnnnnnnnnn you probably need to go up a gear. If it feels like it’s sputtering then you probably need to drop a gear.

There’s a highway here, where I live and there is some road work going on. What’s it like to ride over big bumps going 75/80 mph. What I mean by big bumps is part of the highway is being replaced and the bridges are not so the asphalt is two different heights. About an inch difference.
@KickinItWithQ
@KickinItWithQ 2 жыл бұрын
Going deaf fast over bump you definitely will fill it so if you can’t try to slow down or avoid. Usually when I go over bumps that big I just kind of stand up at the seat or a lift up at the seat and let the bike absorbed and you absorb with your knees

I’ve had some older folks scold me and tell me never to ride in the middle lanes that I should either be riding in the far right/slowest lane or the far left lane only if I’m passing. I don’t know what they mean by that. To me the lane that I’m in is based on the speed, I’m planning to go (similar to how I would be driving my car). Am I totally wrong/misunderstanding this?

I used to ride this way, got tired of speeding and still getting tailgated. Now I just cruise in right lane hugging lane position 1. Just adjust speed for merging cars, let everyone else get in front.

Aer you not bothered by the road surface- In the first minute there is like a crack in the road. I am always looking at the road surface and scared like hell. How do I get over this fear?
@KickinItWithQ
@KickinItWithQ 2 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely correct you should always examine the road. As you ride more and more you’ll get more comfortable with the roads and understand what is a red flag and what’s okay

Definitely ride your own ride bro. If you’re not comfortable with it, don’t do it long as you make it to your destination and home that’s the only thing that matters.

Bikes weaving in between me and another vehicle is not cool. I had one blow past me within a few feet, couple less feet he would've painted that asphalt.
