Motorcycle Master Cylinder Rebuild - Part 1 Inspection and disassembly

Front motorcycle master cylinder rebuild kit BC054M how to video. This is the most common front master cylinder kit used on all the Japanese brands since the early 1980's. Used by Honda, Kawasaki Suzuki and Yamaha on many different models. We use this kit on a 2004 Kawasaki ZRX1200R. Check your model for exact application but the principles used are common for all motorcycle master cylinder rebuilds.

Good information, but technically needs a redo. The lighting is poor, for example making it hard to see inside the reservoir, and much of the video out of focus. It might video better if you use a master cylinder that is not black, which will make the subject more contrasty.

Hi Jay, Yeah - Fully agree. Sadly our skills are with motorcycle brakes and clearly not with video production - We're working on it and hope to improve this!!!

Fully agree Peter and we're learning as we go along. Some poor choices in equipment but hope to improve as we go along and we will eventually re do the video. Hopefully the principles of the procedure still comes through
