This is so much fun to watch on these cold snowy days. I like that modification you made in order to get that long bolt in.

Ahh! Seeing the T in your thumbnail made my heart happy. I loved that build series and I’m glad to know you still have it.

This is killer fabrication, Jared! The only issue is getting that powerplant so close to the passengers. Maybe an insulated fiberglass cover of some sort would help.

Awesome looking build. With the engine placement I don’t think u are going to need a heater or stereo 😎. Can’t wait to see what u do next.

Jared my hat is off to you! You are one hell of a fabricator. I love the work and I watch in amazement as you get this thing put together. Badass is an understatement! Well done

I have my suspicions that the engine location will be all right. I love the center of gravity and it’s about as far away from your head as it would’ve been on the motorcycle anyways. I guess we’ll see when you get it on the track and give it a drive. Have you ever gone out and raced your cars at Willow Springs? I used to go out there with my Yamaha R1 and we used to have a blast at the track.

@@JonMarinello I’ve never driven anything on a track before. I plan on driving this on the street, but might take it to a track once to see how it does👍

@@Jerod_Helt I’m sure you would love it. Willow Springs has open track days. It was one of the most exciting things I ever experienced. Can’t wait to see things progress on this build!

This continues to be a most fascinating project. I am quite interested to learn how you address the issues around the proximity of the engine to the front seats, i.e., heat and noise. Keep those videos coming!!

What a fun project! I'm really impressed with your design and fab skills. I've been fond of the little Fiat 850 Spyder since they came out. I liked the earlier ones with the glass headlight covers (like the early XKE's) But the Feds didn't think they were safe enough! Dang!

Now that I can see how close the engine will be to your head, it will be interesting to see how loud it is when you finally run it. Great progress on the subframe. It looks really clean.

You sure welded the shock mounts up there with no adjustment or geometry tweaks. Should have gave yourself custom options for ht and angles. even longer models 'Girling etc..shocks. Sometimes Oval Tubing rather tha round; if you can press it, is a better strength and filling with epoxy / resins. Liquid metals...

at least the Fiat can be weighed with 4 generic bathroom scales Easy under 800 pound per side or Fornt or Back two wheels... A 2x6 lumber placed under two wheels while resting on four spaced bathroom scales Shold be a 50/50 balance goal anyhow 25/25/25/25 per wheel with driver inside or with 2, Since no one wants to die alone. I'd Put a 3/8" band of 4" Stainless on the front end zHigh enough for a bumper and a like insert on the door since this is a soda can and has nor air bags. Brakes Stopping distance should equal a Porsche/BMW if you can.
