Starting in neutral without the clutch pulled in is a HUGE difference for me , I have worn out clutch switches on Suzuki bikes before . Currently replaced the clutch switch on my sfv before it wore out😂

same with my zx9r, my bike wont start unless i have it in neutral, for some reason I MUST have the clutch out too

@@spicy110na. You just said it wasn't starting in gear. Then noticed that. Then "fixed" it. I would be wondering why it wasn't plugged in. Sort of like if a fuse blows...why has the fuse blown ? That type of thing. Is there a follow up to this ? Would be interesting to know 👍

Yes but this was a clutch switch issue.

Turns out I miss read your first comment, no that is not the case, let me answer all now. It would not start in 1st even with the clutch in. All bikes will start in gear with the clutch pulled in, unless something like this happens. So to your first comment, no that is not true.

@@spicy110 interesting, this is in no way meant to be one of those 'actually, it's like this...' comments but i've got bikes that only start in neutral, and don't start in first whether the clutch is in or not.

Brand new bike, must have been half way in from factory and fell out.

@@spicy110 I saw some videos of suzuki dealers unboxing the bike and the whole handle bar is not pre assembled on the bike during shipping. Must be the dealer forget to plug in the socket after installing the handle bar.

@@ahmadsyaiful yes i have made a video on the unboxing process of Suzuki. Normally that is still plugged in as all the cables are attached to the bars. The bike was quick prepped for me so I could ride it soon as possible. Either way no biggi and problem solved. 👍
