We split up to divide and conquer, Chase went to trips Harley Davidson to fix his rotors, the girls went shopping and Road Capt. and I went north and was pleasantly surprised with a scenic stop out Texas 207

@@Setzerpendence Ya just can't take the Texan out of a Texan. I've never seen a place with so much pride. We moved out about 30 years ago. If we had to go back I'd go to the Hill Country or East Texas. We both grew up in DFW and it's just gotten too crazy there for me.

I’m a native born son of Texas and get out there as much as I can. I’m currently in New Mexico …… last week, I took the GoldWing out to northeastern Oklahoma. There are so many stellar backroads out there. If I would have had more time, I would have stopped in at Tripps. (I also ride an Electra Glide). That’s a great dealership. I do like to eat at Mitch’s BBQ inside the Valero just a short distance east of the Big Texan. I think exit 94 going westbound. Don’t quote me on that. ……Can’t wait until spring now.

it's definitely a hike for us to get up that way. I had stopped at tripps a couple times, once on my way to Sturgis 2020 (slept on the couch) and once on my way back up to sturgis 2020 after i picked up a flat down the road from when i left their shop earlier, lol.

@@Setzerpendence thank you for your response. I believe I have the same mount on the back of my bike. I use Rik Rack on my handle bars, engine guards, etc. I really like the way you have that set up on your handle bars.
