Would it make sense to lock the handle bars?

The handle bars will not lock in the straight position. I can remove the key, but they will only lock if turned all the way to the left.

@@1RaceLifestyle yea that's what i meant to say incase the bike somehow slipped off the stand the front wheel would already be turned in correct direction with kick stand. I just assembled my stand set same ones you have so you think it's a better move to leave the handle bars unlocked

Yes its only 1 bolt per leg on the stands. Super easy! I was able to use a online coupon thru Amazon but even at the regular price of just below $100 they work great.

Yes, I haven't had any issue with them at all. No paint chips or rust or anything.
