Definitely an impressive trip, 3 months and nearly 40000 klms. I recently returned from my UK and Europe trip, 2 months and 12500 klms, made it to Romania to ride Transfagarasan and Transalpina and left my bike in Croatia. My old DR ran like a dream, 2 oil changes and one rear tyre, one fork seal leaked but that was from being tied down in a crate for nearly 3 months, will repair it when I get back next year. Motorcycle touring in Europe was a dream come true, especially on my faithful old DR 650 with over 320,000 klms on the clock. Can’t wait to see more of your trip mate, must have been an awesome experience. 👍👍👍👍

Good to hear from you the trip summary. You are very tough guy, so you had absolutely zero health issues for the entire period. As expected you had an excellent experience with Russia & Russian people. Great! I had viewed all your live short updates & now excitedly awaiting your detailed video series of Magadan.

During my trip to Magadan i was stopped by police only once. It was in the beginning of Kolyma highway just a few days before our meeting in Magadan. They just checked my documents, told me that i had to be careful in the area i was going, no asphalt and bears more then people... than polece men shook my hand and wished me good luck. Was no problem at all.

Bears seem the stealthiest creatures ever. I’ve been many places so far, never encountered a bear in the wild (other than road side beggar bears, that’s a different issue but already not wilderness), despite seeing lots of fresh tracks and poo.

Excelent, Pavlin! It's good to see you back home safe and sound. My trip this summer was 33 days, 4700 km, 2 Up, Heavy Duties hard panniers and givi topcase, 95% asphalt, 6 countries, 3 ferries, max temp 40'C, one T-shirt. :D on a 2007 Suzuki v-strom 650, that I modified the suspension (Hyperpro) especially for this trip. I was able to do it with confidence and fun, also because I learned many things from you in the last years. So thank you, and have a nice relaxing vacation from the vacation :D

Nice to hear your trip went well Pavel. Ours from Portugal to Greece/Turkey/Bulgaria was the same, no issues with the van, people or health and I do have some health problems. The next trip is back on my bike, my Royal Enfield Meteor in Thailand, travelling around south-east Asia this winter, maybe Xmas in the Laos mountains. I went to Russia back in 03 when I did the Ladoga Trophy, now that was eventful, lots of breakdowns, winching through knee deep mud for hours into the midnight sun. We were also stopped by the police 3 times, £6 a time, so no big deal. I loved Russia, the people were great, women beautiful but not many smiles. As usual I didn't see enough, I wish I was as adventurous as you, but at 71 I keep trying...and I take the wife along everywhere....she says she wants us to die together.. Keep up the good work, I need inspiration.

@@motorcycleadventures and maybe a secret advice on top. The further Eastbound you travel, the less try to engage in politics. Especially lecturing the locals on what is „true“ or „right“ will only demonstrate your own biased worldview, and yield you precisely ZERO friends and potentially A LOT of enemies 😎 Remember: You are a welcomed GUEST in a foreign country - as long as you don’t disrespect the hospitality.

If I regard all the (german) media, in many countries I have not found them in real. 99% of all people look for good contact, peace, friendliness, they help you, if nessecary, even invite you or are interested in foreign people. What a huge trip. So many KM. I would probably get demotivated at some point :D I prefer trips not longer than two weeks personally. Then I am ready for home again :) I hope you show the wear on the bike in a future video. Also Pavlin for your height, I can only recommend you to put the rally seat on the bike. It makes the bike so much better to ride. And since you don't run crashbars, Camel ADV just released side panels for the T7 in real enduro plastic. I think that is a very interesting developement for us who prefer no bars.

Hello Pavlin! Try the motoz tractionator Adventure tire at some point. They can withstand a lot of wear and tear, easily 15000-20000km. And besides, they are really strong (almost impossible to puncture), between the knobs the back of the tire is 10mm thick. I've been used several of these and liked a lot 👍 (ktm 990 adventure)
