Excellent video. Especially the special tool to connect the pipe to drain oil and the prompt to bleed the filter housing. By the way, can you remember where the gps cover with sun visor above the clocks came from? I have a normal gps I load with route files I plan on the computer before I leave. But for normal riding in don't carry the gps and that would be perfect to slip my phone into if I need to use it to direct me to an address in a city centre. At the moment I put it in my tank bag and it is hard to read in bright sunlight.

Hi Richard, this is very simple GPS cover and I bought it from one of the local motorcycle stores. Nothing special, but work well. I attached to the dash with zip ties.

Patrick Flinner in every place, where you can buy oil, you can leave the used oil for free. Some require the bill, so they can see that you bought it there. Oil should not get in our water system. Please protect your wives kitchen AND our environment:)

@motorcycleadventures
@motorcycleadventures 4 жыл бұрын
Получается разницу, в зависимост температура масло и время подгрева. Доливай до максималного уровня. Ето что я делаю.

Hello Pavlin ! First of all: thank you for this useful videos. I was wondering are you still using Motul 7100 10W-50 on your Tenere ? I saw your last maintenance videos, and that engine is perfect and clean, even after 160k kms! Wow! Did you try any other brands / gradations , and what is your experience ? My bike currently has Motul 5100 10W-40, since previous owner used that, but gear shifting is not that smooth as i would expect it to be. I am thinking to switch to Motul 7100, since many people say it is better for this engine, and see how it will work then. All the best!

It's funny - until I watched this video, I could not imagine why I should watch it, but it is a very good and important video. LOL. Thank you once again. ;-) …. I have been following you for quite some time. I have been looking for a light weight adventure / touring bike. And what I learned is that you have it. Again, I am laughing, but again I am thankful. LOL For a long time I was considering the Honda 250L, which is a pretty good bike, but not quite big enough HWY riding - 120kmh. Then I started looking at the CB500X, which for street use looks pretty good, but it just doesn't cut it for mild off road use. It would probably require something like a Rally Raid upgrade to be useable off road. But after that it ends up in the same weight category as XT660 Tenere. The new BMW F850GS & 310GS are interesting, the 850 is too heavy and 310 would probably require upgrades. So of all these considerations, the Tenere seems to be the best option. …. Nicely done. …. Thanks. ;-)
