Riding a 2014 Triglide for about 4 years and love it. Getting harder to hold up a 700 lb plus bike as good old age kicks in. Still 1 up on my bike but with wife on board this is the way to go. It takes a little getting used to but it's second nature now. Don't regret going three wheel.

Just picked up my new 2021 Tri Glide in the billiard red color this morning, added a few accessories and it was gorgeous! Then I spent the rest of a beautiful 80F day making small trips around northern Ohio and watching other bikers drooling around it. Man that felt good! Had to give up 2 wheeling it 20 years ago+ due to back problems so when I saw this bike I knew it was time to try again. Now on the other hand. I fought this thing all day as I was trying to ride it like a 2 wheeler. It just doesn't work that way. Finally let the bike teach me how it wanted to be handled after almost 14 hrs of fighting with it. By the time I got home around 11:00 I think I figured it out. Will try again in the morning if it is another nice day. I don't give up easy and besides I have $43000+ (inc taxes) invested that I can't afford to lose. And it is a beautiful bike after all. ; )

Lol 😂, I've been riding bikes for over 45 years now, and I've been riding a trike for over 5 years now and I love it, that's the only thing I miss is the lean, I have a 17 Tri Glide I bought new in 17 and people can say whatever they want to about trikes, but if they haven't never ridden one they don't know what they are missing, and if you put a set of Ape's on it the steering is a lot easier, I still do ride my SPS once in a while, but we do enjoy our Tri Glide, and it's safer in the rain too, good luck brother 💯🤜🏼💥🤛🏼

I bought a 2016 Freewheeler in December of 2016, traded in a 2011 Roadking for the Freewheeler. On August 2, 2021, my husband traded in his 2011 Ultra Classic Limited for a 2021 TriGlide. I have to say that I like riding the TriGlide more than the Freewheeler, but I pitched a hissy fit with the dealership when we found out that Harley Davidson eliminated the heel shifter on that trike and they didn't provide a 2nd ignition key and fob with the TriGlide. After I complained the dealership agreed to provide a heel shifter for it, but they are on backorder with Harley Davidson. The TriGlide is more comfortable with a better seat than what comes on the Freewheeler. Before you decide test ride both models, I think you will prefer the comfort of a TriGlide over a Freewheeler.

Lawsuits Blame Harley Davidson ‘Trikes' for Death, Injuries Three wheels should be more stable than two. But a three-wheeled Harley Davidson bike known as a “trike” is under fire from riders who say the vehicle’s complex braking system has caused unexpected - and sometimes deadly - swerves off of highways. “Trikes with experienced riders don’t simply run off the road into gullies when people are on their way to work or their morning commute,” said Paul Edelstein, an attorney who represents Harold Morris and Laura Share, two New York riders who suffered catastrophic trike accidents. Morris says he was thrown off of his Harley trike twice, once in February of 2019 while driving on a Florida highway and a second time in June of 2020 while cruising in Western Pennsylvania. In that second accident, Morris suffered multiple broken bones and internal injuries. His long-time girlfriend, Pamela SinClair, was killed. “All the sudden the bike was going off to the left,” Morris said. “At the hospital, they actually gave me last rites three times in the first four weeks.” Laura Share’s accident was eerily similar. As with Morris’s two crashes, the weather was fine, no other vehicles were involved, and there was no sign of excessive speed. She says she was preparing to exit a highway near Rochester, New York, when the trike suddenly veered off the road. She suffered a broken pelvis, a broken clavicle, broken ribs, and a broken sternum. “I was thrown off,” Share said. “It bothers me that they won’t take ownership of the problem. In Harley Davidson did not answer questions from the I-Team and in court filings the motorcycle manufacturer has denied all wrongdoing. But in 2019, the company voluntarily recalled more than 12,000 trikes from 2019 and 2020, citing a problem with the way the brakes can engage the rear wheels. According to a notice filed with the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA), certain 2019-2020 FLHTCUTG, and FLRT Trike motorcycles were equipped with software that “may respond incorrectly to a faulty rear wheel speed signal by activating one of the rear brakes.” Since trikes have two rear wheels -instead of a single one - synchronized application of brakes is critical. As the recall notice said, “unintended activation of one rear brake could lead to an unexpected change in vehicle direction which may increase the risk of a crash.” A NHTSA rep declined to answer questions about whether more than 12,000 Harley trikes involved in the recall are safe to drive - or whether the recall remedy was sufficient to fix the problem. “For guidance, we do not comment on pending litigation,” wrote a NHTSA rep who did not provide a name in his or her email to the I-Team. After getting the recall notice, both Share and Morris had their trikes serviced by the same dealer, but they say the recall repair did not prevent their accidents. Stan’s Harley Davidson, the dealer that carried out the recall repairs, declined comment. Robert Bosch, LLC, the company that made components for the trike’s braking system, also declined comment siting a policy of not commenting on topics in litigation. Morris is concerned Harley Davidson now considers thousands of trike motorcycles safe - even though he says the recall intervention failed to keep his brakes from locking up. “They’ve got a problem and they aren’t willing to admit it to save people’s lives,” he said. Court records and accident reports from around the country show Morris and Share aren’t the only ones who’ve experienced problems with Harley inexplicably pulling off highways. Court records or police accident reports that detail similar accidents in Florida, North Carolina, West Virginia, Oklahoma, and Oregon. Earlier this summer, Morris was present as experts from Harley Davidson plugged his wrecked trike into a computer that reads mechanical fault codes in order to examine what - if any - problems it had experienced prior to the deadly crash. Video from that examination, showed a laptop screen with more than a dozen fault codes. Some of the fault codes involved issues with turn signals, acceleration, and the trike’s radio speaker. But there were also codes seemingly related to the anti-lock braking system. One of the codes read “traction control fault.” Another read “rear break configuration error.” Yet another read “Lost Comm w/ ABS.” It is not clear if those faults were recorded before or after Morris’s trike underwent repairs associated with the recall. Either way, Edelstein wants other owners of 2019 and 2020 Harley Davidson trikes to be aware of their safety issues. “There are 12 thousand bikes that we are aware of that this could happen to. I have 2 people that I know it did happen to.”

He recently told me that he has no interest in riding. I'm ok with that. If he ever wants to ride I'll gladly set him up with a safety course but for now...he's just not into it. Thanks for watching. Ride safely.

Great vid. Fun and informative. Now 6 months in on my own tri glide ultra. Every second has been a joy! Yes.. it took a few weeks to get used to riding and negotiating mini roundabouts and sharp bends. I'm flying round them now! Just had the 1k service and not one fault or issue. My dream machine! I did a vid a couple of months ago kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZW1qHaeZ8mafNk&t

I would have loved to ride it for a bit longer to get more comfortable around the turns. So glad you love yours. What area of the world are you in? I could look it up but too lazy. :)

Your arms and shoulders will get a workout if you ride the twists and turns.

@@MotorcycleMonkey Great video! And you're right about the handling discrepancies. / I couldn't afford anything newer, so last week I picked up a 2001 Ultra with a Lehman kit, Baker 6 speed w/ reverse and Champion independent suspension. / I'm 67, and after nearly 60 years of 2 wheel motorized mania, a trike does present a challenge. I only left my lane and ended up in the weeds twice today. Lesson learned, leaning sucks! Regards!

In the UK trikes are only really ridden by those with disabilities which is a real shame.

I'd own one if I could afford a few different bikes. The really are great machines. Thanks for watching.

Way overpriced, they want you to buy it for $35,000 and if you want to sell it back to them theyl give you $8000 because its “slow”

If you want a three wheeler get a can am spyder way better than this ignorant design , the spyder will run off and leave a Harley in the mountains. Cost a lot less too.
