Nice, fastened and secure, with two great flaps that aren't secured and could very easily make it into the rear wheel, much like they did to a friend of mine who subsequently crashed and died. Make sure to secure EVERY flap when you're fastening your luggage like this. It may save your life.

All you need to do is tie the loose end into a bowl or knot. They obviously can't do that when they sell it as they don't know how much length you need. It's not hard.

I'm just using regular cheap straps around my weather protected 80l bag, attached through the passenger handles on my ER6. Has worked fine for years.
@BJMoorhouse11 жыл бұрын
I have some and they're amazingly easy to use. Actually make it look quite difficult and unsafe in this video, definitely worth spending some pennies on. I use one to strap a heavy rucksack to the back seat for my commute, never budges.
@BJMoorhouse11 жыл бұрын
Nah, it doesn't. Remember that the footpegs move with the seat, not the wheel. Also, one of the beauties of this strap is the elastic. Where normal straps do loosen through vibrations, this absorbs them in the elastic... allowing it to move very slightly and pulling it back. Trust me, they're ace - I use them daily :)
@NaudanX11 жыл бұрын
rOK straps are awesome. I would recommend to everyone.
@BJMoorhouse11 жыл бұрын
How would the weight of the rider loosen the straps? Agree it's a bad review though; he didn't tuck the loose ends into the elastic, and trust me (I know from experience), not doing so will bring you to a skidding halt with strap around your back wheel! The straps are amazing though :)
@BrewCityRider8 жыл бұрын
What do you do with the loose ends? You cant just leave them flapping around in the wind or they could get caught in the wheel or rub paint off or something.

Yes i see a problem there. When i use something similar on my trailer i tie the loose ends up but somehow they work themselves loose again. Not something i wan't happening on a motorcycle. The web dominators Martin suggested actually look like they would be useful.
@johnjacob6884 жыл бұрын
@@The77Game You should try different knots. I never have a problem with the loose ends on any of my straps, on a trailer or on the bike.

Is that Edward Norton? One more thing, when the rear wheel shock compresses, will he lose that bag?

I think it's attached to the frame not the swingarm

With the amount of strap left over, I assume they are 1.5m

The straps would loosen up because the straps would move around from the foot pegs to the bag around the to the back .. The weight of the rider would cause the bag to bounce and shift around if you are in a corner . .

CLOse up shots of attaching the straps to the various points on the bike would have been better rather than a single shot - or perhaps this was a shoe string budget
