Motorguide Xi5 Introduction

Yesterday was my first day on the water with my Xi5 I'm 60 years old. Didn't think I would like the remote. Ended up never touching my foot pedal. Love the remote. The Xi5 was awesome..... My son has a 2021 nitro with a minnkota. The Xi5 is WAY smoother and quieter in GPS mode..... My son- in-law has a Kraken the Xi5 definitely can compare to it.... I just don't understand why more people aren't running this Xi5.???🤔🤔🤔 This thing is a game changer on St.Clair.❤❤❤

Not to cool when you just find out that the gateway cable is just available this week for order after waiting months. And for the 1 dollar jumper that should have came with the unit originally the are bending you over another 250 bucks for the gateway cable. Thanks motorguide.

Hi, the boat does not hold the anchor point and drifts slightly. Is this a calibration problem? or this device needs any GPS or other caibration/reset function at all?

Without an LCD screen, how do you know you have cruise control or anything else on?

I was using my x15 pin point to work a long straight canal and it wouldn't stop hugging the left shore line?

I have one more question. If I'm cruising along at 1mph with my remote, can I have my Pedal set to Full blast and hit the momentary switch on the Pedal for a Quick Boost ? If I let up off of the Momentary switch, does it go back to 1mph?

I wish they would make a better foot peddle if I don't take foot off to change direction it goes around an around that the only reason minn jumped ahead I love it besides that its just not good bass fishing the bank around piers ect....

no it wont but i have an original pinpoint system for sale. it does depth shore creekchannel ect.

Disappointing that you have to spend $250 additional to get the Gateway connector to connect with your NMEA network!
