This band means so much to me. I had the absolute privilege of seeing Motorhead in 2008 and 09 at Ram's Head and 9:30 Club. Not some big arena, but in a CLUB. I was right there, right in front of Lemmy both times (definitely a contributing factor of why I got tinnitus in my 20's). I kinda took for granted that they kept going and pumping out new albums year after year. But in 2015, it was a total shock reading about how Lemmy couldn't finish a gig. It made me sad, but I figured he would get back on his feet and they would put out 5 more albums. Motorhead seemed like a permanent fixture in my life. I remember when I heard the news of his passing, I was on tour with my band in Connecticut playing a candy store (Yes, a candy store) and I dedicated the set to Lemmy that night. Whether he likes it or not, Lemmy will live forever!
