The original sound the lads had in the early days combined with all the now classic songs has to be the best sound motorhead had raw LOUD and mean and lets not forget original no one then or now came close to sounding like motorhead i saw them a few times over the years from the 80,s to near the end and every time they blew me away a wall of sound fucking great sadly missed just glad a saw them RIP MOTORHEAD

Of course Phil(Campbell) and Mikkey are great, specially Mikkey....But....Personally I think Eddie is a more melodic and harmoneous player, Phil Campbell I think is less musical, but thats only my opinion. I remember drinking with them when I was 18 in the Lakers Hotel Redhill in '79 (I think?! lol!) And have seen them in all their forms since (last time in Lyon France 3 years ago). As Clint Eastwood said in a dirty Harry film "An opinion is like an asshole, everyone has one"!
