Mammoth Cave NP campground looks like it would be a great place to go even if you didn't go to the caves. I would love hiking all those trails. I hope you didn't have nightmares about the cave crickets. Safe Travels!

I took my children there in the 1970's. I was in my 30's then and my legs hurt for several day. I used muscles I had not used in a long time. Hope you all enjoyed it.

One day you filmed Lorena's butt in the cave, and the following morning you tried to film her before she did hair & make-up. In retribution she told you to put on shorts and led you into a creepy (and what she hoped would be a tick-infested) woods, then to a mammoth sink hole in a plot to dump your body. Fortunately (?) your humor and charm (and Lorena's aversion to driving the RV) foiled her plans.... hypothetically speaking. Another great video! Thanks for bringing us along :)

That cave is AWESOME!!!! we were there when are boys were young back in the 80's the lantern tour was the BEST!!!! We did the History tour first then we did the lantern a couple days latter... We were there for 5 days camping it was great from what I can remember. I don't have a clue what else we did other than the tours. I know we had to have done other stuff. But I've been hit in the head so many times over the year I tend to forget to wake up like I did Friday I slept the whole day.... LOL,LOL... I truly live a dogs life. Eat sleep and poop... LOL,LOL,LOL... You kids keep having fun and I'll be here to watch. Thanks again for taking the time to share these awesome videos... Be blessed... BBE..

I did those exact tours last year. My first national park. I can't wait to go again. Happy to relive it. Thanks again! Note that during the summer it can be difficult to just walk up and get tickets for the most popular tours. If you can, plan ahead and buy online. I think I got my tickets a couple or more months in advance.

Glad you took me through that cave as know I will never go into it. I went in a coal mine in Pa. yrs ago and you ride the coal car down backwards and the opening is the size of a postage stamp when you get to the level for the tour. All I can think when is such confined area is earthquake.

Great video. Mammoth cave is awesome and the park looks beautiful. Paul ... really...., cave crickets, come on dude they are just tiny little bugs. Lorena saying she was going to kick your ass was hilarious. My money is on her, being you're afraid of cave crickets(LOL). Safe travels.
@LifeWithPaulLorena7 жыл бұрын
Tiny little bugs!? They were pure evil looking! I prefer large animals that I know are trying to kill me rather than small things that can sneak up on me, crawl into my pant leg and eat me from the inside out! Lol! Lorena is a powder puff...I hope she doesn't see this or I'm dead! Lol!

I visited Mammoth Cave about 40 years ago. The tour was about 2 hours and was amazing. The entrance then was a huge cave opening with a decline path. We saw huge stalactites and stalagmites and an underground river. It looks like they may be using different entrances now.

Could be Joan...they use several entrances and I think they've closed some as well. Thanks for sharing!

So Happy Y'all visited Mammoth Cave.. They do offer a handicap tour of the Cave System.. The tour takes you thru the Rotunda Room.. The Rotunda Room was used by the Native Americans to have ceremonies.. It is said that during the Civil War soldiers may have hide out in some areas of the cave system.. (Several other cave systems to tour in a 20ty-30ty mile radius..) Another Great Video of Somewhere to travel too.. The area has lots of things to see & do.. Was nice seeing Ozzy enjoying KY... THANK YOU for all the effort you both put in your videos.. 🎶📷🎥👥👀 MERRY CHRISTMAS 👼🎄🎁🎅 SAFE TRAVELS 👩👨😸🚘🇺🇸

Thank you for the fantastic hike and tour of the Caves and beautiful park/woods. Unfortunately chances of me doing this are slim to nil. As it turns out my EX is only a couple hours from there. Next time I head down there (with my daughter) I'll have to at least check out the area. A couple of years ago my friend and I did the tour of Howe's Cave in NY. That was pretty cool and somewhat similar to Mammoth Caves ... probably not as big. Question: While you were having your "picnic" the camera was panning. Did you use some kind of electronic turntable?? Very cool effect. GREAT VIDEO!!!! Enjoyed it immensely!!

Paul, do you guys ever get lost? And if so how do you find your way out. Just asking. Great video since I did not have to actually be there. I have a thing of small spaces. I tried it once not knowing of the whatever and I was sick for 2 days. I had trouble standing up after being in a cave. It really messed with my mind. Not fun. But this was beautiful. Thanks for doing the hard work. Great video again. Stay safe and happy trails. Love ya Joyce

These cave tours are all guided but, even if they weren't, if I find my way in, I can find my way out...I'm weird like that! Okay, I'm just weird, but I don't get lost easy. I've never heard of that effect from a cave...very interesting Joyce! Thanks for sharing and safe travels!

Hi, I’ m first!!!! 🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗 Hey, how did you pan video you & Lorena when you were eating your lunch???
@mikecranston19007 жыл бұрын
sheila hagadone My guess is that he originally had a wider shot, but then during editing he zoomed in the frame, thus allowing him to pan within the original shot.
@sheilahag7 жыл бұрын
Jeff Klee Say what?!?!
@mikecranston19007 жыл бұрын
sheila hagadone Let's look at it this way. Let's say you have a large screen TV with this video playing on it. It's a wide shot of scenery with the two people sitting on a bench in the middle. If you were to cup your hands around your eyes (like horse blinders) and step real close to the tv, you'd be able to still see the two people on the bench, but a lot of the scenery around the edge would be cut off from view. Now start stepping from side to side, and it'll look from your perspective like the picture is panning left and right. That's essentially what I think Paul is doing to the video through editing. I don't know for sure, but it's my best guess. If you really need to find out you can ask him on Facebook where he responds. I hope this made sense and helped answer your question.
