Motorist & Horse Killed In Crash - Jurupa Valley, California 09.24.23

JURUPA VALLEY (LLN) - A motorist and a horse were both killed Sunday night, September 24, 2023, in the community of Pedley. According to a post from Cal Fire / Riverside County Fire, around 8:49pm, a single vehicle struck a loose horse on Van Buren Blvd. between 56th Street and Jurupa Road. The occupant of the vehicle and the horse both perished at the scene. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department is investigating the fatal crash. Van Buren Blvd. is closed in both directions between 56th Street and Jurupa Road. No further details were readily available.
