Motorized Bicycle, Expansion Chamber. Was it worth it and how i made it fit.

Thanks for the update 👍Would've liked to see you take it camping. I waited all year for you to come back and show you using it . Since I was last on here I rode a motorized bicycle across America from Florida to California and back. Camped in some amazing places along the way .

Wow Jarrod, that is awesome, sounds like a adventure for sure. I have not taking mine camping but alot of trail riding. I have not filmed much on the bike since my camera doesnot work well filming riding. I just made myself a easy rider bike, wont be as good on trails, but im liking the build. This week i get a Arch tensioner and im excited about that. lol Safe riding man.

Thanks , this bike is getting me around, though somepeople dont know how to slow down. That trail is only wide enough for one ATV at a time. I am very surprised there hasnt been lots of accidents out there. Take care and thanks for the comment and watch dish. ATB.

an expansion chamber and the appropriate jetting transforms a 2 stroke. make sure you have no leaks! and put a silencer on it!

Thanks, the 2 stroke worked awesome for a couple years, til i changed up and have another cruiser style with a 4 stroke engine on it now.

I've been running the stock exhaust on my bike for awhile. I maxed at 20mph if I pedaled, 25mph if going down a small hill, and normally plateaued at 15mph. I've upgraded almost everything else though. My FIL was visiting on his ride across the country with is new KLR. I took off the exhaust today, and decided to run it for a minute. I zipped up to 35mph like nothing. It held that speed for a quarter mile, and I rode it back home as to not damage anything. I'm currently looking at expansion chambers.

I found that i have more torque with mine, not really faster, but gets up hills easier and such. good luck and have fun, safe riding.

@@kullcraven I definitely have more torque as well. Before I would be going slow and the bike would chug to a halt in about 20 feet. Now it's ripping like a real bike. I needed my bike for something tonight, so I took the bottom of the exhaust off and it's still got that extra power, but alot of noise.

I'll need 4 of them on my bike to get my butt up the hill...lol, Looks good and nice to have to take out and cheaper than a 4 wheeler.

Yeah the muffler worked great for more power to get up the hills and i am always careful on the trails and the street. Take care Craig and all the best.

My engine is doing the same thing when I pull in the clutch I've done a little digging and it's most likely an air leak somewhere I'm still trying to find mine 🙃

Rob , i changed the throttle cable sink from day one mine always was hard to turn. it seemed to fix it. but it didnt. Due to further inspection with brake cleaner, i found both my crank seals are leaking. They are ordered. :)

You should convert it to run on alcohol so you can distill your own fuel

Why would you not just add an electric conversion kit and basically have zero maintenance? I can understand these motor conversions 20 years ago but now we’re in a time and place where you can affordably purchase battery motor controller for very cheap.

Most of it was plastic and it held up thru rough trails with my 220lbs. Although i have changed bikes now and went to a 4 stroke, just because lol. Thanks for your thoughts lol. I'm a country boy that grew up in the 80's we survived alot more sketchy things than this. So we know what works and dont. lol

Sorry but a motorized bicycle is something I'm not into. Why not just buy a motorbike?

This is by far WAY CHEAPER in all ways. lol To each their own. I had a motorcycle for close to 35 years and rode more than most. These days i rather have this to go on the trails with. :)
