Straight from the Motorkote website: Q: Is MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant® safe for wet clutch applications such as motorcycles? A: You can use a very small amount no more than 1 oz per quart of oil. You do want some friction, so adding too much MotorKote® Hyper Lubricant® could make your wet clutch slip.

MotorKote only lubricates the metal parts...won't affect the clutch plates

I put it in a honda dct 2oz per quart. fantastic results, no shifting issues, substantial noise reduction, increased mileage. more than I'd hoped for.

I have an old lawn mower 20 years old with over 2160 hours on it.. I've used motorkote since almost new.. I use it in my car an 07 impala with 182000 miles.. and other vehicles no motor issues .. I'm a believer in it

ASE Master Tech here. Instead of using Motorkoat you should use one can of Seafoam's "Trans-Tune". It will cure your cold shifting problem in about 10 miles and is actually made for transmissions.

I've got a Isuzu NPR. Tried putting some Lucas transmission additive. Big mistake. I parked that vehicle over the weekend when I really needed it. Turns out the NPRs have some kind of non compatible silicone transmission fluid. Had to wait for the dealership to open because you can't buy it anywhere else.

How do you know you are not over filling? And when was the last time you changed your transmission fluid AND filter? And that is pretty gutsy seeing how touchy modern transmissions are, especially Dodge.

At that time fluid and filter had been changed around 5 months ago and if I'm not mistaken I believe it takes close to 3 gallons but don't quote me The amount added was just a few ounces hardly nothing

Boyd: Dodge has nothing to do with transmission in Sprinter. The 2007 Sprinter was made by mercedes in Germany, then shipped to US. Transmission in it is NAG-1 Also, when replacing filter, AND converter - if drains 7.7qt

8 wonder if he was using quart vs gallon. Your the second person to mention this or they changed the base oil. I believe his test were before mine.

worried about if you've bought fake ones, since his video was listed on motorkote official site, there's little chance he's bought fake ones. Or maybe this product really has some snake oil qualities which change their formula randomly.

@@eby6114 Strange answer from Motorkote, purple and golden are completely different colors - I've never heard of something described as purple golden. I hope the gallon I recently ordered is golden, as that's all I've seen on KZbin, except for your video.

@@billypunte Their website said I believe 1 oz per gallon for wet clutch. I used it and made a video about it. One of the few times I could few a difference when trying to slow down and my mileage was better than using it in the engine.

I think I've tried it. Turbo Maxx seems like the best. Very good lubricant test and it bumps the mileage. I used it in a 2 ton 4 x 4 7 seater SUV to go from 16 to 23 mpg, but I used it everywhere, gearboxes, steering pump, transmission and engine. 23 was a huge improvement on the pocket. It does wear off but for the gas savings it's well Worth it

Motorkote has listed this product safe for WET CLUTCH transmissions. Which this Sprinter van uses. Otherwise definitely do not try this one.

Yes it's possible, especially if overdosed. Only Start with 1-2oz and check for smoother shifts

Not sure I've never seen a caramel color for motor coat but I did buy the motor coat by the gallon I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Also if you're not getting it from a reputable person you might try to verify whether it's authentic or not. Even on Amazon you can find fake

A wet clutch lives in an oil bath. Dry clutch are dry
