MOTORLORD SEAT UPGRADE!!! - 2021 Honda Rebel 500 - Tio Fuego RIdes : Ep 8.1

Welcome to PART 1 of my 3 part installation series as I convert my 2021 Honda Rebel 500 to be able to ride with a passenger. All of these parts were purchased separately, so I decided to break the install videos up into the 3 components so you can specifically watch the video you're interested in.

Nice video, how's the comfort for long rides? stock seat is terrible had to modify it with Louie moto I want to change up to a 2 up. Seat looks great on your bike. Thanks

were you able to remove the rear bolts by hand? I was trying to update the seat on my rebel last night and neither of the rear bolts were budging. struggled for a long time and I stripped the most important bolt, now I’m nervous I won’t be able to get it out at all :/

These bolts are stupidly tightened on them. I stripped mines too. But mines for the left peg stand. Now all I’m doing is finding ways to make it worse

I love the seat. A much better ride with it. With the stock seat I couldn't last more than a half hour before having to constantly adjust. Big improvement.

Just so you know you don't have to remove the front bolt, only the rear bolt.

Yeah, I realized it afterwards. I wanted to loosen the bolts before the video, and spent hours trying to get the stripped bolt out. Only to open the wrapping from the seat on video to see I didn't need to! lol

How much inch does it add to the seat height? I’m very interested

It added probably about 2-3 inches in total height. Nothing really super noticeable, but the thickness of the seat makes for a more comfortable ride.

I can only get about 35 minutes on mine before my tailbone starts hurting. How is the comfort level on this one?

I was only able to get a quick ride out with it before the snowstorm came. I'll be giving a review of the seat once it gets nicer out and I can get back on the road.

I swear, i honestly believe that motorcycle companies put the SHITTIEST seats, handle bar grips, foot pegs and other accessories on their bikes that they can ON PURPOSE to FORCE us to buy aftermarket parts. I think they have some kind of deal with other companies that make the accessories or even own or have stake in accessories companies and get a kick back on every one they sell.
