Well said Rachit.. Adding one more point : Used petrol from private vendor like Shell/Reliance/Nayara Energy. Better for Engine and Mileage. My XUV700 AT petrol is giving 13-14.5KM on highway and 9-11 KM on city after shifting to private vendor.

U missed most important point which is to drive car under 100km speed.. which is main reason for average. I own few cars manual and automatic transmission in both I have observed if we drive below 100km speed milega get higher but as we go above 100km speed milega suddenly gets down & 2nd most important thing I have observed is certain breaking & accelerating which also effects your vehicle milage... Anyways this was my personal experience or knowledge which I thought to share with your & all people who watches your show.. I love to watch your videos keep posting..

Well said Bro👍. Also we should maintain the engine speed within 1500 rpm or 80 km/h. Smooth driving and smooth braking will result in good mileage and low maintenance. In my Volkswagen Vento automatic I ensure don’t cross 80km/h or within 1500 rpm which gives me 26 km in highway and 17 km in city.

So that's the reason many cars have Idle Stop-Start function/system now a days , which helps lot to reduce the fuel consumtion. If there is no such function in car , Ideally more than 10-15 second wait time is idle to stop the engine to save the fuel and help to keep environment clean . Stop the A/C before starting engine, as it puts additional load.

Listen bro the fact is if you drive a car like 2012-13 i10 Hyundai with 1.2 liter & 4 cylinder engine you won't get a good mileage in spite of whatever you do, so get a lower cc engine and 3cylinders will have better mileage

After 10k to 15k km. Your milega will get improved. But it's depends on your driving skills to.. most important points u must consider 1st drive below 💯 km speed 2nd no certain breaking & acceleration. For sure u will get much better milage.
