Ciaz is very reliable, I have driven it over 1.75 lakh kilometres on highway and in city, never disappointed me. I had the ZDI+ SHVS variant, gave an avg mileage of more than 22kmpl.

This car still has the stock headlights ..Never felt the need to upgrade as these headlights do the work just enough..! The car has been driven mostly in Mumbai for daily commute to work..

I have ciaz zdi plus with me since 2016. Pillars blocking view while turning and windshield getting shade from dashboard against sunlight and poor headlights are other problems in ciaz. Android auto sometimes doesn't connect with phone. Other than these three everything is good in ciaz.

Most of ciaz parts are shared with swift . If you check brake pads of both swift and ciaz are exactly similar.But prize of ciaz brake pads are too expensive than swift. This is a serious you should make a video or check it once.@motoroctane Thanks for great videos.

I too have a ciaz zdi+ 2016. I have driven it 110000 kms n it’s going good. Earlier there was an issue, under body of car usually scrapes around speed bumps. Later I upgrade tyres from 195/55/16 to 205/60/16 and now it rides like a dream.

The service cost of diesel ciaz is much more compared to volkswagen vento, skoda rapid and hyundai verna. This is because maruti uses synthetic oil for ciaz which costs much more than normal mineral oil. But inspite of that the service interval of ciaz is 10000 Kms. Skoda and VW also uses synthetic oil and service cost for both is around 8k to 9k with a service interval of 15000 kms. Verna diesel uses normal mineral oil and service cost comes out to be 6k to 6.5k at every 10000 kms. Going by this comparison, skoda rapid and volkswagen vento comes out to be more economical out of all along with verna. While Ciaz is most expensive of the lot in terms of maintenance which is contrary to maruti's reputation.

I am happy motor octane has started Owner reviews. Good job Rachit and Team, I really like your videos. Keep up the good work. I really like the way you dug in this guy and brought out the pain areas which he himself wasn't bringing up. But bhai is bande ko 1: seating comfort mein problem h 2: driving se he is not satisfied fully. 3: Engine performance mein issue lagta h. 4: If in just 2 hours he is feeling fatigue in a 10 lakh rupee vehicle whats the point of buying it? He still said that he is not regretting it. What kind of a guy is he? sbhi kuch to kharabh is gaadi mein. When a person buy an expensive vehicle it has to deliver on performance, comfort and safety. As per this guy all this is missing from it. I see every reason for not buying it.
