I own an Xuv 700 AWD diesel automatic. 185 bhp and 450 nm torque. Did an all India trip in it as well covering 8000 kms in 24 days. I can confirm that the mileage figures are real. It all depends on the drivers skill. Similar to how the range in an EV CHANGES FROM DRIVER TO DRIVER, fuel economy in ICE cars too change drastically. I can get between 18 -20 kmpl on highways in zip mode with cruise control on. Driving like that requires a lot of patience. However for a driver with above average driving skills, who takes his foot off from the gas while cruising, driving at the right rpm so that the engine does not burn extra fuel trying to overcome wind resistance etc can easily get 15+ from this gem of an engine. My XUV is 2.5 years old. The built quality and sophistication is sooo good that you fall in love with it. No wonder he is biased towards Mahindra. How can you not be biased when you are in love with the car 😃.

It's been part of Mahindra Australia's plans to bring it in, until Stellantis chucked a huge Whoopi because it looked too close to the Jeep wrangler. The restyle on the Roxx is now enough for mahindra to bring it In. Mahindra Australia just now need to lodge the necessary import docs with regulators here, get final approvals, & it'll be here pretty quickly

Hello Sir, I am a big fan of urs. I am from Pune. I am bit confused between XUV700 Diesel and Thar Roxx Diesel now. I have seen almost all videos of urs and other experts. I am owning 2nd Generation Swift Diesel. I am facing only 2 problem with my Swift, one is ground clearance and 2nd is boot space. Hence i am planning to buy SUV. We also have new Creta 2024 diesel in our family. Now I almost finalized XUV700 (Performance, features, Luxury and comfort), but since new Thar Roxx is launched I decided to take a test drive of Thar first then take the final decision. You have driven both the cars so I want ur opinion. I dont do much off roading. Sometime I take my swift to our Farm. Thats is my off roading 😂😂. Whichever i will buy would be my final longlife vehicle. Not going to change. Plz suggest. HV
