3 to 4 variants between 8.5 lakh to 13.5 lakh. that is my guess based on how VW operates. This would be a game changer. Maintain its premium image as well as give is a large share. Also expect it to be about ~100 kg lighter wih gear ratios to give decent pickup with better mileage on highways. this will impact Brezza the most!!!

I'm guessing the same but I think 3xO sales going to be impact more than Brezza with some impact on Sonet. What I'm really curious is which suspension setup will they go with, as they have started to source it from Local Manufactureres of India to reduce maintenance cost, it seems they will go with more balance approach tilted towards comfort(I'm not a huge fan but that's what's the actual demand nowadays).

No, Inka bhi wahi haal hai. Parts sare Europe se aate hai, repair me time lete hai. Sab jagah service centre bhi nhi hai aur resale value nhi hai. Isliye ye bhi nhi bikte. Also inki cars family centric nhi hai 5 log comfortably nhi baith sakte. Kucch pros kucch cons

@@vinu6575 I own a Skoda Kushaq that has been driven 20,000 km and has had its first service. My experience with Skoda has been great. The maintenance costs are not very high after the localization of parts, which are mainly manufactured at the Pune plant. Every car has its pros and cons, but making a decision based solely on maintenance costs is not correct.

@@vinu6575 now here is the harsh reality, my uncle bought the new Safari, and in the last 3 months it went to service center for 4 times and the funny part is, even the engineering team in TATA has no idea what is wrong with the car(for context it is showing engine light in instrument cluster and the car doesn't move beyond 80km/hr with full throttle). So considering that if you are paying 20k extra every year for the peace of mind that you are getting, it is completely worth it!

I just love the Skoda driving dynamics. Can't forget the 1 ride i had in Octavia with my uncle even after 15yrs now. If Kushaq/Slavia had a more spacious rear seat that fits 3 people comfortably and could adjust 4, it would have sold far better in Indian market. Don't understand the sunroof concept in the budget segment category. Instead, it would be better if Kylaq focused more on things that matter to Indian middle class like rear seat space, ride comfort for old aged and physically unfit Indians, boot space, ventilated seats etc than add-ons like sunroof. And personally, I prefer cars without sunroof than those with it. And Skoda's sleek aerodynamic looks appeal me more than the boxy compact SUVs which feel like obese and disgustingly oversized out of proportion. Hoping for the best Skoda yet that I can finally buy hands down without second thought about competitors offerings🤞

Skoda's 1.0 TSI engine is certified to run E20 fuel by ARAI just a few weeks ago, the E20 fuel is going to be default in next 4-5 years in India. So if your car does not support that fuel type, it's going to be difficult to maintain the engine.

Let me tell you something. I know some of you guys won’t like what I say but it’s the truth. Now these days cars like seltos, virtus and slavia etc.. have a lot of nice features bright headlights etc. but if a person who really likes cars and is a proper enthusiast disagrees with this type of design. Back then around 2010- 2015 car manufacturers were focused on power, space, sunspension and more such as the 2010 Honda accord V6 or the superb V6 or the Passat. They didn’t go with features loaded obviously but now the thing is that like the 2024 Verna or the exter it is PACKED with features and so many lights such as the tube light on front i mean it looks nice and then it has the big touchscreen and now car manufacturers go focused on the features and the lights and then they lower the power of the car which wasn’t the case before, before it was like increase the power and decrease the features and when people see these features they get amazed and since the car has low power it has better mileage and with the features and lights they forget about the specifications like turbo and hp and that’s why I don’t like these new cars, I mean features are sure nice but if you’re sacrificing power then it’s a no brainier to buy these cars unless you’re that one guy who loves those fancy lights etc. That’s why I have also never bought these newer cars the old facelift skoda superb or the bmw or Mercedes comes with SUFFICIENT features like a touchscreen not too big with just Bluetooth, radio and nothing much more it’s got enough features that I want it’s got nice lights but not those fancy ones it’s focused on power but since it’s a diesel it has 140 HP @ 4000rpm which may not feel much but it has 320Nm of torque at an amazing 1750 rpm it has fine mileage of 17-20kmpl and it’s a good car. No blame on the people buying the cars but this is like a trap so I hope you understand what I mean.

Kushaq with bigger body uses same engine and is quicker than 3xo and nexon. So with smaller suv it will be even more quick than kushaq.

Sir, I have 1.0 kushaq style manual. I'm driving 80km everyday for office in Pune hadapsar to chakan bumper to bumper traffic. For 40 km it take more than 1 n half hour. Milage never went below 13kmpl. And while coming home with no traffice it gives 17 to 20 kmpl. So for me its 15 to 17 kmpl on regular basis with AC on 22 to 24 degrees. So I beleive KYLAQ will be little more fuel efficient.

I just don’t understand the management of VW & Skoda. They can easily dominate the whole market with their build quality and engines. Their drive experience is next level. What they need to capture on 1. Introduce a car- Sub compact SUV. This will allow them to tap into a larger market potential which has a budget of 8-14 lacs. 2. Introduce a hot hatch priced at 5-10 lacs. This will allow them to tap the whole market. From lower middle class to middle class to aspiring to rich. 3. As more people will be able to buy VW & Skoda, number of service centers will go up 4. They should consolidate service centres. Instead of having a separate service centre for Skoda and VW. Have service centre’s take care of both the brands. This way they can open up more service centers (even in tier 2 cities). Because for example if they had to open 10 service centre’s in Delhi (5 each) now they only need 5 (taking care of both Skoda and VW). They can use the budget to expand service centre’s. 4. As more people buy them, their cost of manufacturing and parts will also go down. 5. As more people buy them, the brand visibility will increase. This inducing more people to buy. They can easily beat Maruti, Hyundai. Capture more than 50% share.

VW, please get hatchback based on this, with both 1.0 and 1.5 engines. A proper hot hatch back with strong fundamentals to smoke the N lines and Racers 😍 Call it the Polo or whatever the hell you want to call it. Incase if Skoda Kylaq offers tax benefits to customers + offers safety + feel good feature list as per your prediction at under ₹10 lacs On Road Pricing for Base Variant. Only than expect them to sell in good Sales nos. against established players Brezza, Nexon, Sonet, Venue, XUV 3X0,...... Let's hope for the Best from Skoda it's a do or die option for them. Hope they have learnt their lessons well & repeat their Quality problems, issues & defects like EPC, AC shutting off, Shagging roofline, Rattles & Screechings brakes.... Etc. in their KYLAQ launch.
