In this video, you'll learn how to effortlessly import DMR contacts into your Motorola DMR radio using the Brandmeister contact export tool and Motorola CPS2. As a reminder, you need to use CPS2 to do this method. Older Motorola CPS software is not able to import contacts as I show in this video.

The ability to cut and paste in and out of CPS 2.0 is one of its biggest strengths. Makes building codeplugs far more enjoyable that's for sure.

Concatenate is also handy for creating channel names if you use CPS tools like Anytone Config Builder.

Can the R7 process the Talker Alias that is automatically added by the Brandmeister DMR server to the transmission?

Yes, as long as the repeater or hotspot you’re using supports it.

What version of CPS2.0 are you using. I have 2.11 and does not have the import feature.

I'm running 2.146.122.0 -- I would grab the latest version since it will be backwards compatible.
