Motorola RAZR 50 Ultra | Unboxing & Full Tour

Unboxing the Motorola RAZR 50 Ultra, Moto's most premium 2024 flip phone, boasting upgraded camera tech, improved gaming performance and boosted battery charging. Here's a hands-on review of the Motorola RAZR 50 Ultra, ahead of my full verdict next week. And check out my videos of the best foldable phones here on Tech Spurt!
Compared with the 40 Ultra from last year, this Moto smartphone offers a few upgrades. The main camera is now a 50MP shooter, combined with a telephoto option. Here's some photo samples, and so far the Motorola RAZR 50 Ultra has been a respectable snapper for a flip phone.
Also improved is the slightly larger 4000mAh battery, but will it be enough? It thankfully charges faster now too, complete with wireless charging for convenience. And the Motorola RAZR 50 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. This should handle most games although Genshin Impact wasn't supremely smooth on the Edge 50 Ultra (powered by the same chipset). Full gaming thoughts coming in that review!

Wild stuff, that they put the screen back on the outside again. I had the RAZR 2 v9 back in the day and it had an external screen mostly for seeing the time I guess. It was a novelty but not with touch screens, this is more useful

Great video! Can you make folders in app drawer? I'm way too deep into folder world making different folders for banking, shopping etc in the app drawer. I hate vivo for lack of folder making ability and it's barebones half baked UI.

A charger and a case, Motorola is doing it with all, even the cheapest ones, they doing good to win the public. I hope they start to include again the headphones too! Motorola should really stop with the regional renamings. Razr 50 Ultra, Razr 2024, Razr+ 2024. They're all the same device. Why Ultra or Plus? Why 50 or 2024? Why are there three model suffixes of different tiers? Same goes for their Edge series: Edge 50, X50, Edge 2024. So unnecessary and only serves to confuse consumers, which limits the company's reach.

On all flip phones can you show how you can unflip aka open the phone with but one hand? This is the only cool feature I can think of for this phone. Nowadays there is not even a small gap for the fingernail. In the beginning of time the phone/mobile had a metal whip antenna that the special agent on the go pulled out with his teeth and I always liked seeing that. Technology squashed that.
