I wonder if he earn well enough for these shows... Behind to this perfection there are so much years from his life... Worth all the money in the world! He is SO talented!!! And I like so much all this joy when he play on guitar. It is obvious that playing the guitar is his reason to live! Very touching indeed!

A very elegantly understated little tune - it's very easy on the ear, and he makes it sound easy to play, but looking at it I think it's not a piece I would tackle lightly. I particularly like how seamlessly the slide parts are incorporated into the melody. Great work.

ADHD, OCD, and Tourette's couldn't stop this man from being a total badass. One can't help but admire his genius. He's not too bad to look at either... :)

That's like tipping your server at the pub a penny... you must (stereotypically)either be an RPF, a Teacher, or a Scot. Or you decided Mr dobson's style of music is not your cuppa tea. I have this neat bridge you can live under... :)

Can I buy tabs for this one? I can't find it on Ewan's website
@danielibnz7 жыл бұрын
Well, it is on gtptabs, on gp5 format. Try and catch it while you still can, since musicians obviously have the right to get paid. I personally think this is an exercise piece. The performance is impeccable though.

It almost sounded like Kings Quest 5 (KQ5) song initially, inside the village... Sorry, that was nostalgia. Dude, you play so well. It doesn't even feel like one person is playing.

@DJustice91 Hah! Well-spotted. He didn't actually stop - he kept it going while picking up the slide, but I think because he hadn't intended to play this song in the first place, it took a little longer to locate the slide than he expected, and there a few too any filler bars - so I snipped a couple out. Funnily enough, he has the slide at the start when he's introducing the song, so maybe you're right that he can't wear it all the way through. Cheers!

I love your playing and the song. thank you so much. Please come to Chicago and play. Keep up the good work. A good looking guy would be a hit in any place you play
@UnnecessaryMountain11 жыл бұрын
I think this is in fact an arrangement of Whiskey Before Breakfast, done as Paganini might have arranged it, and with some slide guitar thrown in just because. Hence the title, 'Paganini's Whiskey'. :-)
@zacheriahlampinen61017 жыл бұрын
did you come up with the term whiskey for the sorta stumble waltz feel of this type of piece. also since I purchased Ewan II I probably listened to it for as many hours since the purchase :) wonderful talent and great fun.

Well I can't stay focused on anything... even the things that do interest me. I haven't been formally diagnosed with anything though, since I feel like doctors are way too quick to throw out diagnoses nowadays, and I'm not comfortable with the idea of taking medication.
