I’m getting one in a few months. My current van is a Caddy. Hell to drive on a windy coastal duel carriageway in Northern Scotland. Guessing The Transporter will be far worse even in moderate wind as it’s even less aerodynamic. That aside, I can’t wait! It will be more than ample in terms of daily use. VW is a fantastic make. Very reliable and no major issues having owed 2 already.

Rival ?? sorry buddy the only rival the VW has is Mercedes. The ford and opal ( Vauxhall) are like playmobile quality trucks compared to the VW and Benz

What brings you to that conclusion?

The Mercedes Vito is like a Rolls Royce compared to the T6. I know because I own both. The T6 is fwd in normal use (even the 4motion that I have does not turn or handle like the Vito - how many T6 taxis do you see?). There is a false myth that the T6 and Vito are competitors, and VW has been pushing the T6 prices ever higher to fuel this, but the Vito remains the only PREMIUM VAN.

Vito residual values are weak. Also the anticorrosion on Mercedes commercials is laughable. Apart from that it’s just like a rolls Royce.

Hmm don’t think so the Vito looks horrible inside! Yes V class that’s different cup of tea! And the DSG gearbox is the best opposite Vito tronic
