Great review again and I suppose it'll have to do until my dealer gets a demo (hopefully next week). I have to concur with one of the previous comments, the welding does look very good and certainly equals that on my BMW and Yamaha. I know what you mean about offset things though, every time I get in the car I wonder why they didn't put all the controls in the middle of the dash (McLaren managed it 😁), although it might be a bit uncomfortable sat on the handbrake 😮 Actually, I quite like a bit of 'bad boy' asymmetry, my XSR 900 is the same. Thanks again for the review ..... it is a really well proportioned machine and, as you say, RE have gone and done it again! Cheers, Phil (Somerset)

This is a lot of bike for the money. I like the design and position of the dash. Ditto the round headlight and flat tank with its offset filler. It's even got a nice, short exhaust. I'd prefer a Guerrilla to my KTM 390 Duke Mk2, although it would have to prove its reliability. However, I fancy a smaller bike as my second bike as I have an SCR950 as my big bike. Solution: sell the 390 and buy a new VanVan 200 as they are still available in Thailand. Excellent, thorough video. The best one of this bike on KZbin.

Probably my next bike, found it comfier than the 400x sitting on it although probably get the taller bench seat, so much custom potential too, hope someone does a colour matched high front mudguard at some point or mix of high and low like the Triumph option, i would fit handguards, small screen and a mesh headlight cover too.

it looks amazing and it's priced really well for what it looks like it delivers. is it the standard RE 3k miles service interval? also that fuel tank only being 11L is a bit disappointing, I would be hoping for at least 14 to give it a bit of range.
@matthewmoreman41453 ай бұрын
Nice review, I agree it looks great. I'm a bit disappointed that it's only a 17" front wheel, the Scram411 was 19" the 400x and Caballero 500 are both 19" front so probably better fit the "Scrambler that Can" description for light green lanes. None of these are real trail bikes but that wheel size would make a difference, RE state this as a street bike, hopefully a genuine scrambler will appear later🤞. Like your enthusiasm for it, I think it's well deserved.

As an Enfield owner already this is interesting. I have a Pegasus 500, so basically a C5 classic in different trim. Have been in the market for a lightweight bike for a while, the Hunter 350 really appealed to me but after a test ride I found it underpowered. Then the Triumph Speed and Scram 400 were released and that was it, bought a Speed 400 without even test riding, because there weren't any test ride!! Actually was lucky to even find one in the blue, I had to go to a dealer 200 miles away and have it delivered! Anyway, I love it, it's great but I much prefer the instruments and fuel filler cap on that Guerilla, the Speeds clock is a bit of a mess ergonomically and missing a temp guage, and it doesn't have any nav function at all!!! Overall, I like the look of the Guerilla, colour schemes are a bit garish, and the engine is not quite as sweet looking as the Speed, but thats nitpicking. Enfield will sell loads of them!
@anthonybrown48742 ай бұрын
Great review and you were fair to the bike on build and looks wise the bike has its own charm, radiator on the Speed looks better integrated into the design. Don't mind the offset tank fillers as it works for filling up on the side stand. The offset clock is a wasted design opportunity for me centralise the ignition and fit a similar size display for navigation/ communication/ phone integration and option a decent size screen in front to reducevthe wind blast and it would really float my boat. Other positives where it beats the speed 400 centre stand chain on lhs and longer front mud guard ( too short on speed longer radiator gets covered in crap) and the two throttle map modes like that. So nearly perfect downsides want an easy 220 mile range for my commute to get 3 days between fills shorter service intervals and no dealer in my city. Could do with a bit more info on the gearing and revs at 60 & 70 mph for me it's competitor is the speed 400 not the scram.

I think that this shouldn't be compared to a scrambler, since it has too little ground clearrance and road tires. That is why it does not compete with Trumph Scrambler 400x but with Triumph Speed 400. After that modification, the prices are not that far apart honestly.

You are a Tipical key board warrior John slagging off someone's genuine experience with a make and model of bike that you personally probably know nothing about . As matter of fact the dealer in question has an excellent reputation that's why I bought the bike from them in the first place brand new I might add. And there are Enfield dealerships a lot closer to were I live, that's why I was happy to travel a lot further from were I live to get good customer service. If you're so clever, Why has two of the same model and year have the same problems, so why is that dealer related, When I took the bike back it shows no fault codes. And the dealer said until they actually experience the problem they can't fix it. As I said in my comment it's intermittent. You can ride it for an hour solid and won't do it. Then it will jerk few times you think it's going to break down but then runs absolutely fine. It might do it again on that ride or be ok the rest of ride. So how are they supposed to find the fault. I stand by my comment after having a problem with a brand I would not buy another one. Just to add I've been riding bikes some forty odd years, Owned all makes and models over the years, and this is the first brand of bike that I've owned that's got a fault but basically can't be fixed. So why would I buy another Enfield.
