Motorsport engineers restore the Peugeot 205 to perfection!

13:02 - I’m a German car guy. I love the B7 Passat Variant I drive; my first car, however, was a ‘93 306 XT. The 1.6 with carb. That lift off oversteer. I really remember that 306 having that as well. Was fun in winter. I “hated” that car. It went out in a wreck. But if you were to give it back to me now, I’d be happy. I love what you did with the 205. It makes me hope I can one day do the same with some of my favorite cars.

A perfect 205 is a GTI 1.9 exactly as it rolled out of the factory, but without the tendency to nearly stall under heavy braking. Creating that is a good job. If the 205 isn't the best car ever made, it's fourth on the list of the best at worst.

@@Purebredmotors Keeping the 205 alive and original is great work. It would be lovely if all of our Golden Age dream cars were being built like new somewhere out there, but this is my favourite.
