Yup, I did mean 455bhp but I do these reviews on the hoof and the odd slip-up is inevitable. I could have edited it out but doing so would have delayed the video release by 1-2hrs. With time before the sale being so tight, I decided not to bother and take the flake instead!

Harry is most certainly not ignoring the signs. It is simply that Mr. Metcalfe is so well respected in the automotive world that he is trusted without hesitation to present these cars to his viewers in a thoughtful and careful manner. The signs are meant for others. Not Harry.

That R32 homologated it for touring car racing in Japan and of course Australia... Where its absolute domination of Bathurst changed the rules forever. Do cars come more legendary than that? It's hard to think of one, at least in this part of the upside down world 🙃 Up there with the XY-GTHO and the XU1 Toranas.

Smashing selection 🙂 Superb location…….. Iconic aircraft, surrounded by iconic cars…. Love the Black Countach……. no picnic table and all the better for it…… understated if such a thing is possible in a 1980’s Lambo. In the early 80’s I delivered furniture and our flamboyant boss famously lived with Mum and Dad in an ex council house in Harold Hill, Romford (both H’s being silent 🙂)……… pavement parking a white Countach…..😳🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Latterly replaced with an electric blue? Countach QV, which I recall was the first export one off the line……. Exciting times…… 🙂🌟🇬🇧 As another said, a follow up with prices achieved would be brilliant……. Cheers, Harry….

I had one of those original manual B9 Alpinas, bought at Syntner and blasted up and down to London from Preston every week for about 2 years and regularly drove to France and Spain. Loved every minute I spent in it.

Yes CTRL+A! Want them all! That first series E-type jag 4.2 is epic. I love unrestored cars that are well preserved. Those aircraft; a collection of heroes. I heard the AVRO Vulcan XH558 once in my life. Will never forget it howling in the skies. Both beautiful and terrifying at the same time. That lotus esprit turbo is a winner. Epic.

Harry, weren't all M635 CSi's manual transmission ? An old snooker old pal of mine, now retired, Terry Griffiths had an auto 635 CSi in that same colour and in fact, my solicitor still has his bought from new pale green one. I believe that another snooker player, Dennis Taylor had an M but I'm not sure if he still owns it today.
