kwikslvr73 do you watch the Supercars or just the touring car masters (historic touring cars)?
@RhodeysRacing7 жыл бұрын
Shaun TCM and HTC are two different categories.
@2005blackpearl7 жыл бұрын
Rhodey's Racing they are but I was keeping it simple for our friend from the US just in case he didn't know the category names. Supercars is modern cars and TCM are highly modified historic cars. That's what I meant.

Shaun Okay, makes sense. No problem :)

All caused by an inexperienced idiot. There’s no weight on the rear wheels. They are so full of themselves they can’t be bothered to just look at the car before they get in it. These cars just end up in the trash bin.

Just a silly peanut who has no business driving that car. Everyone should know if this torana is light weight and rear wheels sliding, the rear sway bar THROWS the back of the car in a massive WHIPPING MOTION to the opposite side. If you’re just slightly on the throttle at the time of the first slide, you’ve got NO chance when the whipping motion starts. We just KNEW you’d smash that A9X. Peter B knew what he was doing, but you don’t. If you don’t understand the A9X or the SLR 5000, they will kick your arse.

I would make a comment of that opening incident is reminiscent of a typical Forza lobby, but I believe that would be in poor taste in this instance. Very difficult to watch such classics be involved in it. Fortunately, all drivers walked away from this one.

What do you expect with 1960s chassis technology? Please park these cars in a museum where they belong.
@2005blackpearl7 жыл бұрын
helixworld why? These cars were built to be driven. They'll rebuild them.
@captainkaos17707 жыл бұрын
Helixworld, maybe your a v8 super car fan with its vanilla racing and plastic personalitys jumping castles and stunt bikes but these cars require the driver to actually DRIVE the car.
@helixworld7 жыл бұрын
The modern V8 "super" "cars", are all closely matched and fairly predictable handling. They no longer have antiquated live axle rear end. They seem pretty good until the rear tyres start to die. IMO Good handling chassis actually makes for more precise control and closer door-to-door racing. I think people like this TCM category for the nostalgia value. The good thing about these is we get a chance to see Jim Richards still racing, and a couple of the other oldies as well. Anyway I wish these guys the best, and I hope they are not too sore after this incident.
@100holistic7 жыл бұрын
Helixworld there is nothing "1960s" about these cars. They are pour racing cars and like all racing cars are being developed all of the time. The cars bare little relationship to the ones being raced years ago and those ones in that era bared no relationship to the bread & butter cars being driven then by Mr & Mrs average. That's car racing. They'll have these cars, like an old hammer with three new handles and two new heads, back on the racetrack in no time.
@helixworld7 жыл бұрын
Live axle rear suspension. Zero static camber and lots of unsprung weight. To me this is technology that is well suited to farm equipment. I can understand if people feel nostalgic about these cars, but personally I don't have that feeling.
