People who are making excuses for the Porsches got to realize, that the C8.R only raced three races in its entire existence, and already its a competitive force to be reckoned with, which will improve, with every race.

The fender bender was rather funny. Should have had some insurance adjusters on site :). Porsche was just not able to recover the lead after that mistake. The 911 has the best exhaust though.

DPi - Daytona prototype international LMP2- Le Mans prototype 2 GTLM - Grand Tourer Le mans GTD - Grand Tourer Daytona First two classes are purpose built for racing and other two based on production models. Cars get slower as in the order above and race for diffrent trophies

The Vettes ran atleast 0.5s a lap quicker for most of the race, sure porsche shot themselves in the foot but the BMW didnt seem to be on pace at all...

@@RUsOmaDDbrO I just checked the fastest laps of the rave for the GTLM cars and the Porsche actually ran the fastest lap at 157.977 the corvettes were next at 157.979 and 157.996 the next Porsche was at 158.060 and the BMW's were at 158.6××. So if anyone deserves a bump its them. My opinion is to leave the fast cars where they are and bring the others up to that level. But Imsa likes to cripple the winning teams and pile advantages onto those behind them.

The amazing thing about GTLM and Corvette this year is the team is so confident of their equipment, C8Rs that they seem the conversation between car 3 and car 4 is at the end of the race we will agree on which car win. “It’s your turn, No it is your turn!”

Notice how there were no major collisions between different-class cars? They all know and follow the rules, and the different classes racing at the same times makes for a lot of excitement. The faster classes need to find their way around slower traffic. Plus you get to watch several contests at the same time. Love it.
