I'm sure you remember back in the late 80's when these engines were free for the taking, a guy in Eastern MA was advertising in all the car magazines a kit he designed that dropped a 472 or 500ci Caddy engine into a mid 70's Chevy Malibu. If I remember correctly he was running in the 11's with stock junkyard engines.

Gremlins are great fun. I used to have a 1970 with a 350 buick. Then upgraded to a 355 SBC. Wheel base is so short they handle a bit squirrely.

I had a 70 too, black with centerlines, tinted windows, 355 sbc, th350, and 9.3 olds rearend with a spool.

I had a 1975 Chevy half ton square body, I blew the little 6, and had a 1970 500 Caddy laying in the corner of the shop, so guess what I did? Stock with slicks and a 373 10 bolt arc lock, done low 12's in a 1/4. It was a fun truck. Them old Caddy motors were torque monster's, outa the box... Love it 👊🏻😎

they will and they are.. they failed on there play platform BS... everyone hated that they took free content and made everyone pay for it over on there channel , that failed hard and they lost close to 60% of the viewers over a few years... so there back, making more $ with viewers and adds and merch then paid subscription.. MTC relaly screwed us over for a while... glad to see there back .

a girl friend had a 1975 Gremlin with a V8 and 4 speed. It rev'd nicely to 3500rpm and then fell on its face. another G friend had a 1975 MGB and it rev'd the same way, just ran out of power at 3500rpm. those 1970's Smog cars suck
