HOT ROD Drag Week is more than just clocking the fastest time on the strip; it puts competitors to a grueling test over the five days of drag racing, requiring racers to drive their vehicles on a specified route from city to city, upward of 1,000 miles. During the competition, drivers provide photographic evidence to prove they have adhered to the prescribed route. 5 different tracks, 5 different days.

Fantastic coverage, THANK YOU HR magazine & Motor Trend magazine & Roadkill guys. You know what I'd really like to see, maybe this is idle dreaming, but what if somebody wandered around the pits with a camera & gathered together short interviews with each of the racers, like say 3-5 mins EACH, yes 3-5 mins EACH, and splice all those interviews together, upload that to KZbin. I mean yes the cars are the stars & the drag action is where it's at, but on the other hand, I'd like to know more about these guys who do this crazy challenge. To me changing summer/winter tires is a major chore I do like twice a year, and these guys are doing the same thing twice each day slicks/streets. That's impressive to me! I'm genuinely impressed! I’m watching this kinda late I tried to catch live last year but I was in a college class but I want to bring my 97 Ford F-350 turbo diesel and I NEED to know what class I can run and what rims are a able to take the weight of my truck and tire size and stuff and how I need to pull my truck to the line and if there anyone to help me with parts and stuff cause I want to bring a trailer and put stuff in my bed and I don’t know where to get a trailer as small as y’all so I might buy the smallest trailer I can buy cause I really want to do drag week with my truck so any help with be greatly appreciated

The bigun customs or whatever guy helped stage Finnegan's gasser because they swapped and tuned his suspension at the shop last night... isn't that against drag week rules? I thought they were only allowed to make repairs and only the driver and copilot were allowed to work on the car.
