Its not a joke. Computers are monitoring the exhaust air pressure from which turbo turbine blades retract and move according to the pressure applied to these blades,give boost as per the rpm. It happens in variable geometry turbos.

As cars get more HP and electric, I believe the new performance benchmark should be 0-60 -> 0-100 mph and 1/4 -> 1/2 mile. We now have big 4 dr sedans (M5, E63) doing 0-60 in 3 secs; not too long ago 3 secs was the time to 0-30mph.

Sorry but the GT500 was at the rear of the c8 right after launch everyone knows at the end of a 1/4 and half mile the GT500 is gone.-you see Randy pulling right next to him and basically stop hitting the gas. That tributo is capable of high 9s low 10s but I do agree they are paid they will always pick who pays. Like they always been Chevy ppl. So GT500 takes a c8 in any half mile or 1/4 mile. It actually launched wayyyy better and was sitting next to the c8 in that race. Every race ever the GT500 just runs passed the c8 at the end.
