I know Cadillac Racing and "normal" GM are not the same gang of people, but the 2012 Chevy Volt hybrid starts the 1.4L inline-4 the same way. It doesn't have a starter motor. Car up to speed, and then use the electric motor to spin it up to 1500rpm in a bang, and then add fuel and spark only after the revs are up. Similar sounding start, just very, very, very much more silent. 😂

That Ferrari is amazing and terrifying. But that Caddy is absolutely a low flying fighter plane! Watching that thing electric start & then fire up the V8 for the jump to light speed was SO satisfying. Wow. Wow. Wow. It’s also insane to think the Porsche 911 Turbo S & McLaren could be considered the slowpokes of that group!

Carwow darg races are more frequently done, hence have lower quality ... but the "yapping" is often informative and entertaining than other boring drag videos. And they have drag raced many more cars against each other than Hagerty. The combinations are just much higher. Camissa's drag races are less frequent coz of the higher production target and post processing edits. They look good but are less numerous. Basically quantity vs quality ...
