Wonderful. Great to see such a positive response from the recent F1 champion drivers, from the recent F1 champion company-McLaren. A beautiful, understated exterior design, in which form follows function- and its function is beautiful. Supposedly, as the McLaren F1 road car was aimed at world-dominating accerelation and speed in a road car, this one is about handling and the pure sports car experience, and I believe it. I'll take it over a Ferrari or Lambo.

Mc Laren is amazing. I love this car. I really wish they would do a proper F1 replacement. The MP though is just fine enough for me.

Stylistically, I think these prototypes look a bit dated with all of the horizontal bars on the front grills and rear of the car. Also, the car still has a large gap between fender and tires. Other than that, it is awesome!

@FordsBetter516 oh, in that case, my bad....... IMO. The Mp4-12c is going to achieve some serious stuff, its obviously been aimed at overachieving in EVERY category (considering the price)... I think its consistent test results will cause jaws to drop, while the 458 and SLS owners cringe. It should be faster, quicker, cleaner and smoother then either of those cars... with a better driver-focused ergonomics and better driver vision, all the while being a capable and efficient road car.

Actually the R8 is a Lambo also :). But the MP4 really looks like an up to date McLaren F1, the chassis is very similar. Unfortunately it has less power and more weight, almost 20 years later and the F1 is still a king.
