A friend of mine had a loaded 2005 model. Its was quite a comfortable vehicle and he didn’t have any trouble with it. He sold it circa 2010, but took a bath in regard to depreciation.

Crippling depreciation came standard.

I still see plenty of these on the road-surprisingly-with lots of dings and paint issues.

I just came here to say i never see any. I see plenty of Pilots and Highlanders from this era though

My friend got one of those when Mitsubishi was doing that 0 down subprime stuff. I had a Mazda at the time. I thought it was a nice ride. Came over one day and it wasnt there. Never "knew" why at the time. (Bank repo) Always had a love for Mitsubishi but i think approving everyone killed their reputation.

I mean honestly I think that’s what save them because I think a lot of their cells come from people who benefited from them being generous with credit … people are not busting down doors for Mitsubishi I mean back then they got sales and a lot of them were younger folks

Had Mitsubishi made this a 3 row, slightly larger crossover it would have been a hit. It drove really well and performed well for what it is. People were looking to replace their minivans around this time and the 3 row Highlander and Pilot took all of the wind out of the Endeavors sail.

Totally agree. I never understood why Mitsubishi didn't put a third row seat in these. No doubt with that independent rear suspension, they could have made it truly a comfortable family hauler, since it was already a good size SUV.

Basically a Montero/Pajero.

My family bought a brand new 2005 one and we still have it. It runs pretty good for an almost 20 y/o vehicle

I had a white 2005 Limited, definite upgrade from a 98 Grand Cherokee. Drove it until I traded for a 2013 Lexus GX.

That’s ridiculous, if I want “car like comfort and convenience “I’ll get a car.

I think nobody buy this car at all even if it's a good car

This was a good competitor for the Honda Pilot if they had kept at it.

I hated the way these looked

These were so unsung sadly. Not sure why they didn't keep making these and improve on them.
