Maserati literally named a car "four door"(that's the meaning of Quattroporte in Italian), and it sold. BTW, that F1 transmission was the achilies' heel of this car in the early years. The later models with the ZF 6 speed automatic were much better.

3:21 first time I'm hearing of a V8 engine with more power than torque. That's usually the case with N/A 4 and 6 cylinder engines.

Very common of high revving engines, due to shorter stroke, less displacement. A lot of Ferrari engines are like that.

not so sure, the Lexus 5.0 V8 was the same 471hp and 391TQ AND earlier versions of this motor were 420 hp And I think around 370TQ naturally aspirated

This Maserati was incredibly unreliable and depreciated very quickly.
