nice, I just got a used 2011 Rav4 V6 AWD sport, with 69,000 miles and it is FAST drives amazing, faster than my 2004 BMW 330ci

The 3.5 Rav4s are definitely sleepers, especially with 4wd and able to put some surprise hurt on many unsuspecting vehicles.. even ones that are quicker. (I know from experience) My only complaint about the 3.5 liter is some maintenance issues. For example, (it's sorta' rare) the water pump requires the engine to just about be removed to service. Also, the 4wd is not a light item to work on. Great vehicle but if you intend on keeping it for the long haul.. I would spring for the 4 cylinder.

@OscarMaris I do. I have to carry a large Pelican tool case, a suitcase, laptop bag and occasionally a 6 foot ladder. The RAV4 can swallow that with room to spare and gets great gas mileage.

Re: the ride being somewhat harsh at times, I've heard that can be the case with the Sport model. This appears to be one since it doesn't have the spare tire on the back.

Run-flats are an option only with the Sport (not base or Limited). Too bad the spareless doors remain swinggates rather than liftgates...

Here MotorWeek is talking about Rav4 changes and completely fails to mention the biggest one. Some models, like the one they tested, no longer have the spare on the rear door!! Hurray!!

No spare tyre on this one. This was the sport trim with run flat tyres. Other models still had the spare tyre back there. It was mentioned in the video too.

BMX X6 only 1s faster than this nice Rav4. Wow. Rav4! if you can makes 5s Rav4 that would be perfect. Love this car. Peace.
